I'm a 32-year-old law student who LOVES animals. If you're heading out of town and looking for a responsible person to absolutely pamper your pet, give me a call! From now until the end of February 2015, I'll be home studying every day (first for finals, and then for the Bar Exam). That means your dog won't be left alone for longer than maybe an hour or tw
o while I hit the gym or run an errand. I have use of a car when I'm at home, but I am also within walking distance of two fenced dog parks). He is stubbornly optimistic that any and all dogs will eventually be his friend. He is also very good around cats, mainly ignoring them. If you want me to stay at your place, I will have to bring Teddy with me. Lastly, I'm a big believer in updating owners with pictures via email or text message while they're away. That way you know everything is going well. Check me out on Twitter .

Dogs will get at least three walks a day, plus lots of tummy rubs and treats (if allowed, of course). I'm also good with administering medicine, should you need that. Finally, I have room for a crate if your dog prefers to sleep in one, or there is space on my bed!
** Puppies **
I accept puppies in my home as long as they are house-trained (or mostly house-trained). I will, of course, provide more frequent walks for puppies!
**Day Sitting Rates **
Just need a sitter for a couple hours? Want to REALLY enjoy that bottomless mimosa brunch? Or maybe you're touring the monuments? Just shoot me a message with what you're looking for and I'll reply with a rate (probably in the $20-$30 range). If you live in the Mount Vernon Triangle/Chinatown area, I can probably even pick your dog up for you. Or there is a driveway in front of my building for easy dropoffs/pickups.

If you are interested in me staying at your place, I am often able to do that. Two things to note, though:
1) My dog (see description above) would need to accompany me on any overnight stays.
2) I may not have access to a car. If you're close to a metro stop then it's not much of a problem. If you're not, then we might have to add an additional fee for a cab/Uber. We can figure that out, though. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
