Thank you to the Harris County Sheriff's Office and the Houston SPCA for your work to put a stop to animal fighting in Texas. Please continue to follow the leads and shut down the breeders of these animals all across our country.

All live roosters were brought into the care of the Houston SPCA and are currently receiving individualized treatment by a veterinary team, according to the nonprofit.

Making progress in Kentucky! We are grateful to State Senator Greg Elkins for introducing this bill and to the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police and the Kentucky sheriff’s Association for supporting it.

Kentucky is one of only a few states where c**kfighting is a misdemeanor under state law, which animal advocates says creates little deterrence.
