We only use the most up to date non-dominant, positive reinforcement methods. All basic training services require a 15 minute meet and greet before booking, these are free and are needed to get acquainted with you and your pup and their specific needs. All reactive dogs require a $50 one time fee, hour-long consultation to better assess what your dog's triggers are. All classes may be booked indiv

idually but it is recommended to do a full course which is 6 sessions twice a week for 3 weeks. If booking one of our services that will be consistent or a week or longer these will require a contract. Contracts may be dissolved with one week notice and no fee. All cancellations for any service must be done at the latest 24 hours in advance. Classes may be rescheduled but it is recommended if doing a full course to not split them up as it messes with the curriculum. If cancelling day of a $50 fee will occur as the scheduled service will block out any other potential services from being booked. Payment will be received upon starting the service i.e., at the beginning of class. Payment may be completed by paying in cash, venmo or check. Checks are only accepted for training services or for bookings longer than a week or more. If paying with check, payment must clear before services begin.

Hi Berkeley and surrounding city neighbors! My name is Gregory Szatmari of Dog Days Pet Company! I'm a dog trainer/behaviorist , sitter and sometimes walker located in downtown Berkeley however I service the surrounding cities including Oakland, Albany and Emeryville. With me you'll get a step above most solo pet professionals as I am licensed and insured.

As for my skills I have been working with dogs professionally for about 8 years now with 5 of those as a professional trainer. I have been ccpdt certified which is training using only positive reinforcement reward based training. I specialize in dogs with reactivity ranging from fear, aggression, anxiety based reactivity and everything in between.

I also offer a great recall and off leash training program which is great for owners who are trying to get their dogs in packs for walks or hikes. Some of the other services I offer are pet sitting either in your home or mine. I also offer some walks but am currently only accepting clients in Berkeley for those and also only 1hr walks for solo walks and a half hour if it's multiple dogs in a home. This is due to me just starting to form my packs.

I am happy to be a part of Berkeley's local businesses and just recently acquired my business license from the city!
