Dr Jac’s Turkey Creek Roxanne O’Dee (Roxie) – Now Residing in Fayetteville Illinois

Not long ago, I received a call from an avid upland game sportsman with a passion for the pursuit of pheasant and game birds. A frequent visitor to South Dakota and various game preserves, he had recently explored my new website—TurkeyCreekBrittanys.com, and was eager to discuss acquiring a finished Gundog.

Roxie has been an invaluable part of my kennel, producing three litters of top-tier Gundogs and consistently delivering outstanding field results. Now six years old and in her prime, she is a fully trained Gundog, excelling in search, locating the birds, steady-to-wing pointing, and retrieval—precisely the qualities Bill sought in a field companion.

After reviewing photos of Roxie and her pedigree, Bill took a diligent approach, conducting research and making calls—exactly what I would have done in his position. Shortly afterward, he and his wife arrived to pick up Roxie, and she has since settled comfortably into her new home.

It’s a fitting retirement for Roxie, and while I’ll certainly miss her presence at the kennel, I’ll take great joy in working her offspring this fall in Montana alongside Ned. Meet - Turkey Creek Grace
Born on June 20, 2020, Turkey Creek Grace embodies the excellence of her lineage, being the offspring of Turkey Creek Dr Jac’s Pence O’Dee and Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate. Now thriving under the guidance of a fellow guide, Grace continues to produce impressive field results for Barry at Rolling Hills Pheasant Preserve in Marcellus, Michigan.

A dedicated sportsman, Barry proudly brings Grace along on his annual pheasant trip to South Dakota, where her natural talents shine. With a remarkably keen nose, she locates birds swiftly and holds the point Steady to Wing, showcasing precision and discipline in the field.

Grace’s passion for bird work emerged early, particularly with pheasant and Chukar, as seen in the attached puppy photo. Many dog enthusiests appreciate not only her skill but also her engaging personality, making her a valued companion in the field.

Turkey Creek Chip Off The Ole Pence, born on June 20, 2020, carries a strong lineage as the offspring of Turkey Creek Dr Jac’s Pence O’Dee and Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate. Now residing in Petersburg, Indiana, Chip was acquired by David to fuel his passion for the pursuit of quail and pheasant.

From an early age, Chip showed promise as a Gundog, quickly adapting to training. The attached picture captures a defining moment—Chip on point as a puppy, experiencing his first quail encounter.

His pedigree is a blend of exceptional bloodlines. The frozen semen of DC AFC Brett Jared O’Dee led to the birth of Turkey Creek Dr Jac’s Pence O’Dee, while Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate introduced the distinguished Auten bloodline, along with the legendary Nolan’s Last Bullet.

Turkey Creek Overbrook Chispa O'Dee, born on July 16, 2022, is the remarkable progeny of Turkey Creek Dr Jac's Pence O'Dee and Dr Jac's Turkey Creek Roxanne O'Dee. Her owner, a passionate field trailer, delights in the pursuit of Upland Game Birds.

Residing in Pennsylvania, Chispa has made impressive strides in her training, showcasing a quick grasp of fundamental obedience and field skills tailored for pursuit of Upland Game Birds. Her mastery of "Steady to Wing & Shot" training reflects her disciplined approach, and she excels as a retriever, both on land and in water.

Life is good. Retired and loving it training Brittany’s, guiding, hunting, and planning my next Tripp x Rio litter for the spring of 2025. The new website has proven successful and broadened my exposure significantly. This years hunting trip out west will include delivery of puppies to Montana and Colorado. We also have a puppy going to Massachusetts. The previous breeding of Tripp x Rio produced very good Gundogs.
