We all know between working full time and running the rescue it takes me FOREVER to update my page. I do want to thank the Reeds for their generous donation of granite countertops to the rescue. I was having a major melt down with using the formica as I felt that they just held all the germs no matter how many times I bleached used rescue cleaner, vinegar ect. This is such a wonderful upgrade that will help with germs and any contagious viruses that come in. Again THANK YOU so MUCH!!!!

It had been a while since I have been able to update. Easter Sunday I get a very distraught call from siblings about their eilderly dad. He had 12 cats and 4 kittens. Most of them are sick and weak. How can I say no? So we trek over there and omgosh what a mess! So here i am in one of the nursery rooms until 1am getting things together and trying to wipe eyes and listen to them. This has got to be the most sick cats and kittens in a long time. I will take pictures either today or tomorrow. If anyone would like to help donate to their what is going to be an enormous vet bill please let me know! I cannot do this one alone. On top of all the sickness I think 2 of not 3 are pregnant. I will say this of you need help getting them spayed or neutered reach out there are plenty of programs available and low cost spay or neuter clinics. I will advise you what ones are good and what ones to avoid. Sorry for the long Monday post. I literally wanted to just cry seeing them. PS none of these poor babies can even be near my cats as I am not sure what they have going on.

These pictures do not even do this poor Lil baby justice.

This is yet another baby in need. Yes, I know I have a very hard time saying no, lol. I just took in another baby that is a hot mess, no hair in spots, and looks like he is absolutely miserable. He is going to take a lot of time and money to get back to being a great looking baby. I will get him there, but I am asking for a little help this time around. As we all know, everything I do comes out of my own pocket, and without help, I can not financially afford bills and to care for everyone that needs loove an vet care If anyone would like to help with this babies journey, I would be so grateful!

With the holidays I have been extremely busy. But this baby boy is the newest rescue. Today at 6am this baby came into our rescue he has some puncture wounds from fighting with another dog. He is already feeling and doing soo much better. Thankfully nothing is broken and he will just need time to heal. I have never seen so many dogs and cats dumped until I moved down south. While this is very heart breaking I know that if there is a will, there is a way! So welcome to the crazy crew! Definitely need a name for him. No chip no idea on who he was before this morning. I will tell you he is the sweetest most loving puppers even with everything he has been through! The abandonment and the abuse he endured as he definitely shows signs of being hit. This baby will never have to endure a life like that again. He is now chipped and will be vaccinated after he heals. He is neutered already and once he gains some weight and has some good food he will be even more handsome 💙

Here is the momma and babies. Their bellies are full and they are comfort nursing. Such great progress. She can keep mastitis away and her milk ducts open. She's such a trooper and love bug. Need to take more pictures of the 5 week olds. The tortis and other bigger babies are the 5 week olds. At this age they don't sit still. Lol

It's been a busy last 2 weeks here. First took in one set of 4 week old babies. No momma unfortunately. Then took in a momma and her 7 babies. Poor momma can't nurse her 7 2 week old kittens due to sore/bleeding ninnies. So this human momma is up every 3 hours bottle feeding all the little ones. Tired 😫 but that's ok. Treating the momma in hopes that she can resume nursing. 🙏

Hello everyone. It's been very busy with the move... donations of cat food, litter, and some new scratching posts/toys would be greatly appreciated. I am temporarily holding onto her precious babies until we can get her the deposit that is required. Pigs. Is our local grocery store here. I cannot see someone go with out their babies due to financial struggles. Even if everyone donates a dollar we can reach the goal. No donation is ever too small.
