This sweet soul, now named River, was found at Rogue Park in Detroit last week in the deadly temperatures, likely dumped, with signs of frost bite all over.

But Jasmine Gress from Being Vulgar for the Voiceless found him and brought him inside to get everything he needs.

Right now her group needs large crates and you can help.

Latest rescues 🥺

Sweet girl was dumped at a fire station in a box with two siblings . Firefighters took two of them , and we scooped up the other. She’s about 3-4 months old. Looks to be a corso mix 💓 we vaccinated her , dewormer and gave capstar ✨
Our friends at 12:10 K9 Rescue has a foster to adopt waiting for this nugget ✨✨so we will be transferring her on over later today!

Sunny- our Doberman girl is going to undergo strayhold 💓 we will vaccinate - deworm and do all the good stuff in a few more days. 🥺 she’s peeing frequently and small amounts so we are concerned about a UTI. No p**ps yet but we have had scared dogs go on p**p strikes lol praying there’s no blockage . 😭

Our two brindle mushy boys just got vaccinated , dewormed , capstars and are doing amazing!!!!

Our two little baby girls are thriving in foster, getting bigger! They have been vaccinated , dewormed , capstar given! They will get their second vaccines next week and we are praying they won’t have another reaction to it this time 🥺

River- dumped in rouge has been vaccinated, dewormed, HW tested, F***l tested, and gets neutered tomorrow!

We gave out 8 crates between last week and this week! Did our rounds on our outside babies making sure they had fresh straw , yummy food and everyone got toys , coats and love 🥺🥺🥺🥺

We are down to 3 syringes for when we deworm. We’ve been busy little bees over at Being Vulgar for the Voiceless 💓💓✨

We have 4 puppies scheduled for spay and neuters ! Possibly the Doberman too if she’s unclaimed or doesn’t find rescue 💓 and we will be neutering River tomorrow!!!!

Our two baby girls are growing , learning and flourishing in their foster home!!!!
We are putting our feelers out there for potential foster to adopt homes or adoptive homes once they are fixed!!!!

Our two newest babies have arrived !!!!! They are still looking for a foster home to flourish in , we might consider foster to adopt homes as well!

They have gotten baths today, their first vaccines , nail trim, and are sooooo sweet!!!! They’ve also been dewormed!

Must be able to come to Warren mi for vet visits!

Both babies are males 🩵pitty mixes!

Everyone welcome Cupid and Romeo 💓💓💓💓💓💓😍😍😍✨they still have puppy breath , love to play and are the sweetest cuddle bugs!!!!

🚨🚨🚨CAUGHT RED HANDED 🚨🚨🚨

Friends. Village . Adopters. Followers. Everyone who has supported us. We absolutely hate having to make a post like this but we are at a loss for words. We offer free pet food for anyone needing without it being for specific jurisdictions only. Anyone in need can reach out to us for help. We offer free supplies , we try to help with vetting when we can or have the things on hand to do so. We supply outreach homes with food, tie outs, dog houses, straw, preventions . We show up day in and day out for dogs out on chains. We spay and neuter hundreds of pets every year out of our own dime or donations raised towards their care. Everyone knows rescues all over the world are bursting at the seams , everyone knows rescues are over capacity. We still try to help. And when we can’t find placement with us we try to call on our partners to help citizens find a place for dogs to land.

Around Christmas time we had someone steal our entire load of donations out of our donation bin at the pet store. We figured it was a simple mistake, but they specifically went in there saying they were part of our team and took every single item people purchased for our rescue dogs, our rescue kittens, our outreach dogs and our pet pantry that we use to help so many families facing tough decisions. We were heartbroken but continued on with our mission and didn’t make a fuss . Yesterday we walked in, to an empty bin. AGAIN. Someone stole our items for a second time. Unfortunately now the store has to make changes to the bin placement, protocols about who is allowed to pickup and how to handle this moving forward which shouldn’t need to happen. The other bins in the store for other rescues have been left untouched . So it seems as if this is a personal issue with our rescue specifically. 😞

So what better way to recoup from our losses than show this rotten apple just how strong our supportive village actually is?!!!!

We are going to turn this into something positive!!!!!!

Two sweet little puppies are needing foster!!!!! We supply the medical, food, supplies & anything needed to be successful Foster’s while you get puppy love, without the commitment of keeping them lol 🤣 Warren Michigan! Both boys!
