Huge week at WRAC! This week, 9 dogs left the shelter to begin their next chapter! 🎉

🏡 2 were adopted into loving homes.
🐶 6 were pulled by incredible rescue partners.
🎉 1 of our longest residents was saved through our fundraising efforts.

Even more exciting, three of our urgent dogs are now safe! Georgie and Bo Berry were pulled by rescue, and BingBong was saved thanks to the support of our fundraiser.

That leaves just two of our urgent babies still waiting: Holly and Bonkers. They need someone to see their worth and give them the chance they deserve.

While we’re celebrating these victories, the reality is that the kennels don’t stay empty for long. Since these dogs left, new dogs have arrived, and we’ve already filled those open kennels with another group of dogs hoping for the same happy ending.

The need never stops—but neither does the hope.

Every adoption creates space. Every rescue saves a life. Every share helps another dog find their person. Thank you for being part of these victories—let’s keep the momentum going! 🐾❤️

BingBong (yes, that is actually his name 🥰) has been rescued!!! 🥳

While we celebrate our longest resident finally getting his chance, Holly (second dog in the video), Bonkers (third dog in the video), and Bo Berry are now all on the urgent list!

They have until Thursday, August 6th at 4pm to find an adopter or rescue commitment. Please don’t let BingBong be the only happy ending.

🚨 HUGE NEWS FOR THE DOGS! 🚨

Today we want to take a moment to shout out and thank a couple of our incredible sponsors who have stepped up in a BIG way to help save the dogs at Warner Robins Animal Control. Their generosity is giving at-risk dogs a second chance at life. ❤️🐾

Along with several incredibly generous individuals who have donated to this lifesaving effort, we want to give a very special thank you to Mark A. Update! Bo Berry adopted and being pulled through Go Dogs Go Rescue!! 🎊🎉🎊. We still need Bonkers and Holly out🐾🙏🐾🙏
✨Dog Spotlight of the Day - Our URGENT dogs Holly, Bonkers, and Bo Berry!✨

Last week we shared six of our most urgent dogs, and thanks to this amazing community, three have already made it to safety! ❤️

🎉 Georgie was pulled by Go Dogs Go Rescue, and Whiskey and BingBong were both saved thanks to the support from our recent fundraiser.

That leaves Holly, Bonkers, and Bo Berry as the longest residents in our adoptable pod. They have waited far too long, and they need someone to give them the chance they deserve.

💚 Bonkers arrived at Animal Control wearing a green collar, but despite clearly belonging to someone, no one ever came to claim her. She’s still very much a puppy with plenty of energy, but she’s also an absolute lovebug. One of her favorite things to do is throw herself down in the grass and rub her back with the biggest smile on her face.

🩷 Holly is just 9 months old and has watched her kennel mate get adopted while she was left behind. She’s playful, spunky, and full of personality, but once she’s had a chance to burn off some energy, she melts into affection and loves soaking up attention from her people.

💙 Bo Berry is also only 9 months old. He was actually adopted on June 4th, but after getting out of his yard, his adopters chose not to come reclaim him. Through no fault of his own, he’s back at Animal Control waiting for another chance with a family that will never give up on him.

These dogs are officially on a deadline. They are running out of time. 🚨

Buster is our dog spotlight of the day and oh boy is this guy just the sweetest!! Buster is an older boy, around 7/8yrs, 74lbs and a husky mix. He should be enjoying a soft couch, walks, belly rubs and a loving family. Instead he has found himself in a loud, concrete animal control and is sad. He watches quietly as you walk by, waiting to be noticed. He’s a lower energy boy, heartworm positive, and a true gentleman. When we were bathing him, he was honestly one of the most gentle fellas we’ve met🥰 probably never knowing such kindness. Please help us save this gentle old soul🐾🙏🥺.
