My poor turkey has been limping since friday. We assume she landed on it wrong. I know alot of us dont have the luxury to take every livestock animal to a vet but I so thankful I do! Im very very lucky to have an amazing local vet in the town over from me, literally a 10min drive. Dr. Fernandez at Barnegat Animal Clinic is amazing to my pets and I. Anywhere else would charge an arm and leg for Xrays and exam of a turkey. I’m so thankful for him and all the staff there for making it affordable to get my “babies” veterinary care when they need it!

And YES she did ride on my lap swaddled like a baby to and from the vet. 😂
