The Ruffled Wings DU Patio Party is ready and set to go at the Corner Market downtown Wapello this year. We will have tea and water available if there is anything else you choose to drink you may bring it with you. Looking forward to seeing people at 4:30 today.

Please plan to join us for the 37th Annual Ruffled Wings Banquet/Patio Party. We are doing things a little differently this year thanks to COVID-19. Instead of the usual indoor banquet with a live auction, we will have a Patio Party with a small meal, silent auction and raffle opportunities. Bring a friend and join us outdoors at the Izaak Walton League, 10892 CR-X61, Wapello on October 3rd. The doors open at 4:30 PM. The building will be open with seating available if needed. We saw continued success in our third week of auctions.

This week’s changes are in red below.

Here are the details:
-The third auction will run from 8 AM Wednesday through Saturday at 8 PM.
-The hyperlink for this week’s auction will be sent out on Tuesday afternoon via IA DU Facebook, a statewide email blast from DU, and this email. https://go.dufundraising.com/iaduonlineauction4
-First National Bank of Omaha, our DU credit card provider, has underwritten a complete merchandise package for each state! $250,000 in total!
-NEW this week: Franchi Affinity 3.5” Camo 12 Gauge Shotgun, Pebble Beach Golf Experience, Dream Vacations to Belize and Costa Rica, and Costa Rica Billfishing!
-Items will be shipped from Memphis, TN once the CDC and local government have approved Headquarters can reopen, due to the “shelter in place”.
-Fi****ms will be shipped to a local FFL for transfer. Winning bidder will need to provide me with an FFL to receive the firearm. Winning bidder is responsible for any transfer fees charged by their FFL.
