🌾 A Kentucky Farewell for Sienna 🌾
Yesterday, we said goodbye to sweet Sienna as she began her journey to Iowa, where she is now settling in and lovingly called Briar.
Briar traveled with the wonderful Rhonda of Trails with Tails, who cared for her with such gentleness every mile of the way. We are forever grateful for the love and professionalism Rhonda brings to each Heavenly journey. Rhonda, you’re truly one in a million.
Finding the right home for Sienna took time, and it was worth the wait. At 17 months old and 58 lbs, she remained a quiet, thoughtful, and beautifully reserved girl—one who needed a calm, loving, and steady environment to match her spirit. She has now joined a peaceful home with a wonderful, experienced Weimaraner owner and her trio of senior small dogs, where Briar will receive the patience, companionship, and one-on-one love she deserves.
Briar’s adventures are only beginning.
In the new year, she will be harnessing her incredible nose as she begins scent work—putting her natural talent to good use. And who knows… perhaps there’s even a barn hunt trial or two in her future. We can already picture her tail wagging proudly.
Here at Heavenly Longhaired Weimaraners, Sienna grew up surrounded by her Kentucky pack—gaining confidence from Luke, gentleness from Lucy-Lou, patience from Saint, and endless warmth from her mama Star. She was cherished by her brothers and sisters who came to stay, and she taught me so much about patience and the beauty of a quiet moment away from the chaos.
Though her precious paws have left Kentucky soil, she will always be part of the Heavenly family.
We know she will thrive, be adored, and continue blooming into the extraordinary girl she has always been.
Enjoy all the new smells, Briar.
Shine softly and be brave.
Your Kentucky pack will always love you. 🤍🐾
