A healthy litter of 3 puppies now 2 weeks old sired by Kian. Thanks to Penny (Del Brave I Wanna be Bad DS).

Besides my dog hobby I am an avid gardener. Ok bordering on obsessive. So hot and muggy here today in NC. Sunless. But I have new plants with nowhere to plant so the obvious thing to do is move the fence. Anyway, I'm about done when I hear the babies squawking in the kennel room. Got hot in there as it is all glass, even with the fan and AC running. So I take them into the living room and put them over the vent. They immediately calm down and sleep. Eventually they move off and find their right comfort level.

New champion. Mint, CH Del Brave Penny Bank, finished her championship with her fourth major win.

A year ago at her first show at 6 months of age she was BW/BOS over Specials under Paula Nykiel for 4 pt major.

At 7 months was BW for a 4 pt major under Jason Hoke in Trenton NJ

A 5 pt major at the NCCBRC Specialty MD on Dec 1 under Nancy Tuthill.

A few days shy of 18 months she finished by going WB/BOS for 3 pts under Michael Faulkner.

Mint is by GCH CH North Flow Swedish Adventure CD out of Del Brave I Wanna Be Bad DS.

Del Brave Chesapeake Bay Retrievers is located in the Raleigh area of North Carolina, We are conveniently located for travelers coming from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and South Carolina.

For eight years prior to breeding my first litter in 2000, I trained my Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in obedience, conformation, for field work and hunt tests, and agility. I have a great love of this breed and appreciation of its unique qualities from those years of training which formed my dedication to breeding a Chesapeake Bay Retriever true to its hunting heritage while focusing on health, good temperament, and sound structure.
