Everybody loves Shirley, did you know Laverne is her sister? They don't care for each other very much! Shirley loves loves loves to run on the wheel and to sit in bowls and other various objects. Laverne loves traveling in every kind of vehicle and mower and jumping on people to be supervising. Here you can see Shirley on my jacket, and Laverne on Jim supervising the floor project and laying in his vehicle literally for the whole afternoon while he worked! What a pair of girls!
Artist Nickolay Lamm consulted hypothosizes how cats view the world compared to humans. They can see better in the dark but are nearsighted.
While looking for calming colours to help the cats to paint in their remodelled apartments I found this company who is going to pitch in and help us with some colour schemes!

Calming colours for Cats
More creativity from John and Jeremy! John cut down two humongous trees outside my bedroom window and it allowed way more light into the room for me and the cats. He built these two cat attachments to the stumps of the tree post for the cats to enjoy outside! Now I need to pressure wash the 🏠
Good Wednesday morning from Tiberius the Jungle Cat ♥️
Pan Pan F1 Savannah Cat enjoying her shredding of the box! Cat enrichment at its finest 😁
I forgot to post last night who this beautiful pelt belongs to! It belongs to sweet Behjah one of our sweet Dmh's. Not a possum, porcupine or the like! Just a sweet lovely cat very up close ♥️ Isn't it beautiful?
Putting Sarg in this box with her ball is the best way for her to be able to play! She can't fall out and the ball doesn't go anywhere so she has a lot of fun! Purfect for the cerebellar hypoplasia cat ♥️
Sweet Neasa in the branch pile! She was dropped off/abandoned with her five babies last year! They are all amazing cats
CH Sarg lives to play ball!!
Sarg loves to play with the ball!
Demo' ing the ceiling and walls of one of the Bengal houses! Jim discovered some ants, wasps, and rotten wood and poor framing 😢but never fear, he's here to fix and remodel and make it so the cats have everything they need in style! Thank you to Jim for all his hard work, and to our benefactors for supporting and believing in us and our cats!
Who can identify this?? Go!

Happy belated birthday to Clover and Dahlia! They turned three last week 😻 we still have Clover's mom, Emmy, who is relatively feral. She had her babies on Good Friday 2017 here but Dahlia came from the flea market as an abandoned kitten the same age.
All cats love boats!
Turtle Bengal, a very sweet boy who came from a raid a few years ago in KY through Bengal Cat Rescue and HSUS. We have his sister Ricky while their other companions were adopted out to great homes ♥️ both Turtle and Ricky are somewhat skittish but very affectionate when they are settled.

Sarg's condition: Severe Cerebellar Hypoplasia
Severe CH cats are much more reliant on their owners. They remain recumbent and exhibit the inability to walk or even stand up. They simply lack any coordination to do so, however that doesn’t mean that they can’t get to where they want to go. Severe CH cats will crawl or flip-flop to reach their destination. As with moderate CH cats, carpeting or some type of rug will be easier on this cat as opposed to hardwood or smooth-surfaced flooring. Cats will often use their claws to steady themselves or help pull their bodies across the floor.
They may require some help eating and using a litter box. I have spoken to several owners of severe CH cats who have informed me that their cats will generally clue their caretakers in to their needs with specific vocalizing to indicate whether they are hungry or have to relieve themselves. Being observant and recognizing this behavior will help keep owners and their pets in sync and avoid unwanted accidents.
Severe CH cats can become expert climbers, whether climbing on and off the couch, the bed, or even going up and down a carpeted staircase.
Aayyyeee every.day.shirley Instagram April 19, 2020 Shirley loves this boat in the counter of all seas! She also received her first live gifts - 3 bowls to see if she will fit in and how long she will stay!
Thanks everybody with their great comments about the stainless steel litter box. I don't need help with the litter I've got that covered. I am just trying to figure out a better option for the plastic litter boxes as I do find they absorb the odor, they scratch up and they crack. Factors are replacing every litter box the cost of the replacement, cleaning every different litter box... I think what I'm going to do we all had a brainstorm is write two helpful and descriptive reviews on litter choices and litter box choices. Because I have so many cats we have EVERY different kind of litter box you could imagine from small and square to round large small high sides low sides to covered to not covered litter box totes from Walmart cement mixing bins kiddie pools and more. We also have EVERY different kind of litter you can imagine pine pellets paper pellets coconut walnut scoopable unscoopable crystals arm & Hammer etc the list goes on. Currently I get dr. Elsey's donated which has proven to be almost the best as well as arm & Hammer slide. I belong to the rescue food bank and I have probably received six pallets of litter over the last 6 months or more with EVERY different kind of litter you could imagine. I know they have reviews on the litter sites but I think I should put it all in one place with our experience so that everybody could see what might be helpful or not. Also keeping in mind the most important factor is that every cat uses a litter box in a different fashion which will also relate to the type of box and the type of the litter. It's a lot going on here!
What do you all think?
By the way day one of the stainless steel box huge success very easy to clean sides do not seem tall enough imo but have not been peed outside of as of yet. Comments always welcome and I will try and get this done so we can all collaborate together.
24 Firms in China Exposed for Using Endangered Leopard Bones in Traditional Medicines
Due to the risks posed by the consumption of wildlife, the Chinese Government has imposed an emergency ban. The continued sale of leopard bone medicines demonstrate the need for this ban to be expanded.
After almost 2yrs, this morning I netted our black feral 'Gimp'. he comes around all the time but never close enough to interact or certainly not to catch. We noticed he's been losing weight lately and he's been coming closer and closer to eat the canned food today Daryl bribed him with canned food while I stood behind and netted him! definitely has a mouth infection going on so hopefully we can address that and have him feel better. He actually let me pet him too, just not sure much he likes it yet 😻
Does anybody out there use stainless steel litter boxes? I have been researching and I want to see what works better than the plastic ones which seem to hold the smell too much. With all the litter boxes (almost 30) in the house that I have, cutting down on odor is definitely a thing. One of these stainless steel ones also comes with a top perimeter for those that like to pee high. They're just expensive! I was thinking of calling some food companies or restaurants to see where they get theirs. In the future, I'm planning to have an outdoor house attached to the house that is specifically with litter boxes with cat doors going from the inside to the outside making it just an outdoor litter room. Feedback is good!
Walt loves the shelf that I added on the kitchen door just so cats could lay and see through the window 😻
