New Teammates!

Emma (different Emma than from a couple of posts ago) rode Amado for her first time today. Emma has been with us a couple of years, but took a break and has been getting back into it riding. We are so glad that she's come back, Emma is a joy to teach and we always have fun when she comes out to ride.

She spent most of the lesson checking off skills from her levels, and finished learning something new: Asking Amado to bridle/collect! These two will continue to work on building consistency in holding collection together and all of their other skills as they work through our levels program.

Amado, "WhatsAmadoWIthYou" Is one of MHNPH's lesson and show horses. You haven't seen him as much because he was dealing with some health issues and acting out from it. Thanks to Lisa Bentley our bodyworker helping us find the right rehab for him, he's been getting back to his old self and getting back into lessons. Emma thought he did "awesome".

Come join MHNPH!

We have a growing program with lessons, training, and clinics!

Our program can help riders of most ages and backgrounds improve their basic skills or improve in the show pen.

For our lessons we have an 8 levels program for ages 8+ (this is great for adults too!). We also have a 2 level program for Leadline students ages 5-8.

Our training program is open to both c**ts and your general horse that needs a tune up or work on its show skills.

Late posting, but congrats to Emma on completing Level 2!

Emma has been doing an awesome job working through her levels. She completed her last task of level 2, putting on sport boots, bell boots, and skid boots. To celebrate, she rode Amado ba****ck!

Camille doing rollbacks for her first time on LittleBug. We are so proud of Camille, as she came to us initially a couple of years ago after a riding injury where she had come back afraid to trot. Now she is doing rollbacks at the lope!

New Trainer in the Barn!

This past Tuesday at 3:41 am, Sofia and I welcomed our first son into the world. We have been enjoying learning to be parents to Matteo, our new horse trainer 😉. We want to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts, prayers, and help along the way. We couldn’t have done it all without your support.

Tuesday, I will start back to lessons and training. I will be accepting new students and horses again starting in November.

At the moment I am not planning anymore clinics or shows for the rest of the year to make time to learn and be a parent while still keeping up with providing quality lesson and training services.

If you need something sooner, please allow me to get you in contact with my assistant Chloe Rose, who has been doing great settling into her new role as Assistant Trainer/Instructor.

We have an updated Welcome Packet, and added new, helpful instructions in the packet and website to help get you going with your Horsemanship and Showing journeys.

SHOW TIME

This past weekend the MHNPH crew went to Groesbeck again and had a great show! •

•Cassidy and Chloe won checks on Saturday
•Chloe showed in the Lmt. Open for her first time and did spectacular! There wasn’t anyone else in her division on Sunday but her and Theo took first in the Ranch Riding and Ranch Rail on Saturday with multiple competitors
•Amelia and ButterBean won a cutting board and some BBQ seasoning, winning their division
•Krystal placed well in her classes and her horse Boozy showed a lot of improvement!
•Rowdy, owned by Amelia’s sister Haley tagged along for his first time and got some exposure
•NightRider continues to improve and mature while showing
•Cassidy got to try her new horse “Dixie” in the clinic Saturday morning and won her division on Sunday on her regular horse “Belle”

Safe to say we’re seeing improvements all around with this crew!

LEADLINE PROGRAM
