If you guessed BOY… you were right! 💙

Well it has been an eventful day around here.
After a quick check on Nuova baby today it was determined the puppy was showing signs of stress so we moved forward with her c-section.

As a result of no labor, hormones, and the stress of surgery, sweet Nuova wasn’t interested in taking care of her baby. So we grafted her puppy to the 1 week old babies in Hazels litter. Hazel is an amazing momma and took right to the new addition. We will be monitoring everyone really closely to make sure growth stays good.

Nuovas puppy will be on hold for the time being until I can be sure he’s thriving. Momma Nuova is resting and recovering with lots of extra special attention.

We have one GIANT surprise delivery coming tomorrow.
Our girl Nuova, whom we thought didn’t settle a pregnancy, is in fact pregnant with one gigantic baby. We will be having a c-section in the morning to meet this big baby.
