In incomplete dominance, neither allele wins.
Red flower + white flower = pink flower.
The traits blend into something new.

In codominance, both alleles stand their ground.
Red flower + white flower = red and white striped flower.
Each trait shows up side by side, fully expressed.

So when we talk ball python genes, “co-dom” is often misused. The morphs we can see in single form?
They’re actually incomplete dominant—because heterozygous snakes show an intermediate form, not both traits distinctly.

Let’s call it what it is. Science > slang.
