It was a Banner week for Steadfast Farm at the 120th Keswick Horse show 🌟
Jillian Stevenson and her new mount, Nile Z, were Reserve Champion in the Keswick Children’s division. They also had great trips in the Older Children’s division.
Brinkleigh Rhodes and Heartrate competed in their first National Derby and scored in the high 80s. She finished 6th out of 25+ riders and was right behind the Pros in the results. She was also Reserve Champion in the combined 3’3 juniors as well as second in the Junior Hunter classic.
Jozalyn Marchione and Questionable Encounter had great trips in the 2’6 Keswick Derby and won an over fences trip in the pony hunters. Jozalyn took the Reserve Champion win in a competitive Small/Medium pony hunter division.
Emerson Kelly and Texas moonshine won the USEF M&S pony medal and the WIHS pony medal. They were Reserve Champion in the Local Pony Hunter division and went home with the title of Best Child Rider on a Pony.
Alyssa Bledsoe and Obi Wan BC had excellent trips in the 3’3 combined juniors. They had a winning trip Saturday with a score of 88! They were also 4th in the combined Junior Hunter classic. ‘Obi’ is sadly offered for sale as Alyssa heads to college soon.
Amber and Surprise CTF played in the .70 and .80 jumpers. Jumping clear and careful in the .70s! ‘Spry’ also went in to her first derby and had scores in the high 70s! This was only her second rated show and she went around like a seasoned pro. Spry sure has a promising future ahead - she is offered for sale with special consideration to a horse show home.
Thank you to the Keswick Hunt Club for a great horse show and my team for making all of this possible.
