If your dog has some behavior problems, they may not be due to a lack of training. Some experts feel that 20 percent of all behavior problems are caused by health-related problems. Chewing on garden plants or wood could indicate that your puppy is not getting enough nutrients, and food allergies are often the cause of behavior problems. Befor you stat training your dog, make sure that he has been to the veterinarians and has received a clean bill of health. Once health problems have been ruled out, you can start correcting any unwanted behavior.

If you start the housetraining process early enough, you can teach your puppy to go to the bathroom on command. When you take your puppy outside, use a command while he is eliminating. A couple of suggestions include
"potty time," hurry up," or "do your business." Use any command that you are comfortable saying. Use this command every time you take your puppy to the bathroom. Soon, he will get used to hearing the command, and will go when you tell him to. This way, you won't be left standing in the cold.

Happy 1st Birthday 🥳 Twiggy
It is a bittersweet moment for us. The entire experience with Twiggys breeder was awful, which forced us into the heart breaking decision to rehome Twig. She leaves for her beautiful new home in January so this will be the only birthday we will celebrate with her. Twig has grown in a tiny, petite, funny little dog. She is a very sweet girl and deserves the world. We love you Twig, Happy Birthday
