With the current outbreak of EHV-1 and how widespread this virus is I will no longer be accepting new clients till January 1, 2026.

The Equine Herpesvirus, that has been traced back to a horse that was competing in Waco Tx, is a more agressive strain and has already been fatal to several horses. This virus is spreading like wild fire and with there being confirmed cases of horses at both the BFA and WPRA it’s only a matter of time before it shows up in horses up north. Those were two huge events that competitors from across the country attended. Not to mention that one of the horses who died was not stalled at the Lazy E and still contracted the virus.

Know the symptoms and signs! Do not go anywhere if you do not have to! Quarantine your horses and take this seriously. I have attached some screenshots to show how deadly this can be and for you to look up yourself.

My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but I will protect my horses and the future of my business.

Whiskey is a 2 yo bay gelding. He is gonna mature out to be a big boy as he’s already around 15hh. He is halter broke, leads, ties and had some ground work done. He is ready to be started! Is in his ugly stage right now as he’s growing. He is correctly built and will be athletic!

*he has a cloudy right eye. He will loose vision at some point in the eye but it will not need removed since the pupil has a tiny poke in it making it cloudy.

Overnighted often, has been to LBW’s, jackpots, fun shows and trail rode all over! This pony takes care of who ever is on him. No buck or funny business. Kids crawl all over him and he doesn’t care at all. LJ is worth his weight in gold!! This pony comes with more references than your last job application. Quincy enjoying the Dac licks! One of the easiest ways to keep your horses up on vitamins and minerals is to have pasture licks kicked out periodically ! Having a pasture lick can really help horses on their metabloic needs, especially if you do not grain or supplement. Just a reminder that any and all supplemental needs has to be based off the forage your horses are consuming🌾

Did you know a single tick bite can give horses tick fever?

Tick fever (Anaplasmosis) is a blood borne disease that targets white blood cells and can be destructive to red blood cells. Common symptoms of tick fever is edema in the legs, lethargy, fever and of course a decreased appetite.

Keep a watchful eye out for your horses, the ticks seem to live longer each year and pose the potential threat to many diseases.

Roz was unfortunately bit by a tick and contracted tick fever. After an overnight stay at the vet clinic and a lot of medications ahead of her, she is now on the mend. Thankful to have such a great vet clinic near by.

Chica is a 15 yo Grade QH mare. She stands around 14.2hh and has a stocky build to her. She is UTD on vaccines, coggins, teeth and gets her feet trimmed regularly. She loads good, stands ties, been there and seen a lot. Chica is a great trail horse for anyone! She Is traffic safe, crosses water, and checked cattle. This mare can get pissy in an arena setting but will W/T/L just fine and carries herself nicely. She was roping a sled a few years back. No buck, bite, rear or kick.
