Mystery snail breeding looks like a bright pink, raspberry-shaped clutch of eggs laid above the waterline on the tank glass or lid, not under the water. The eggs are laid by the female after mating with a male, and the clutch will appear as a cluster of jelly-like spheres that harden as they dry.
