Ziggy got to spend Christmas with Corinne one of his bestest friends from Heart and Soul Parrot Rescue. He looks happy and proud to be on her shoulder.

This was going to be our first Christmas without Ziggy and Mala, but Santa delivered these two 3D printed figures today a gift from our friends Lydia and Helen! Thank you. We will always treasure them!

Ziggy was the only bird I ever had that I knew his exact hatch date. Now that he's elsewhere I imagine it'll be forgotten in time but I'll always remember it and him (and Mala).

I wish I could be with you today, my friend. I hope you're adjusting and some how know that I didn't want you to have to leave. Always in my heart.

No it wasn't a mother and child reunion but it was a father and son one at Heart and Soul Parrot Rescue today. He was really miffed at me at first, and I wish he could understand why I had to find him a new home. He warmed up to me soon enough. I miss you, little man.
