Indian River 4-H Horsemasters Valentine Horse Show

Indian River 4-H Horsemasters Valentine Horse Show It's time for the Horsemasters' 53rd Annual Valentine Show Fundraiser! Youth are welcomed regardless of race, gender, or creed.

Indian River Horsemasters is a 4-H club that focuses on horse education, riding and the love of horses. Funds raised allow IRC 4-H Horsemasters to compete in local, area, state, and national events. These include Horse Judging Contests, Demonstration Contests, Record Book Competitions, Hippology Contests, Horse Shows, and Camps.

4-H is a not for profit organization that falls under the blanket of

the University of Florida and IFAS. Horsemasters, the oldest 4-H club in Indian River County, has helped countless youth reach their fullest potential since its inception in the 1960's. Our Valentine Show funds have always been raised through donations from local businesses wishing to partner with 4-H for the betterment of our youth. This page exists to relay show information to those interested and to recognize and thank our many sponsors.

A few of our members got the privilege of attending UF Horsemanship School over the last two weeks.

Special thanks goes out to Indian River County 4-H Foundation for sponsoring our members! As well as our Valentine Horse Show Sponsors for an amazing week at the University of Florida!

All of the girls improved in their horsemanship, as well as learned about opportunities within the equine profession.

Thank you UF for providing this experience! 🐴🍀

Way to go, Olivia! Horse Masters is so proud of you! 🐴🎉🍀

Way to go, Olivia! Horse Masters is so proud of you! 🐴🎉🍀

It is our pleasure to congratulate the class of 2025 graduating seniors on all of your accomplishments, 4-H involvement and high school careers! We cannot wait to follow your endeavors. 🎓

Through generous donations and our annual flagship fundraiser event, the 16th Annual Indian River County 4-H Foundation Annual Fundraiser “Wild Wild West” allows us to give back to our 4-H youth through scholarships and financial aid to encourage higher 4-H involvement in club, county, state and national 4-H events and activities.

It is with excitement and joy we announce the recipients of this year's Indian River County 4-H Foundation's Erin Foster Arena Memorial Senior Achievement Scholarship Award. This award is a merit-based scholarship rewarding $1500.00 to first place, $1000.00 to second place, and $750.00 to third place. This year we were unable to award a third place due to participation. Our two seniors however were simply incredible and blew us away with their 4-H careers.

Preference was given to members who distinguished themselves scholastically, showed leadership potential as exhibited by their academic record, and who have exhibited achievement and/or leadership abilities within 4-H. All finalists have been invited to attend our 4-H fundraiser with a parent so we can celebrate their accomplishments with our community!

Without further hesitation, please join us and say congratulations to our outstanding seniors:

🍀First Place: Olivia Diaz, Horsemasters 4-H Club (pictured)
🍀Second Place: Kylah Flint, Barn Blazers 4-H Club

Parents and 4-Hers are encouraged to learn more about this award and remember to apply by April 1 of each year. Visit https://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/indian-river/4-h-youth-development/irc-4-h-foundation/ for complete information.
