Rustic Roots Rabbitry is centrally located near the East coast of Florida. We raise commercial type rabbits for show and breedstock.

We are the original Rustic Roots Rabbitry located in Vero Beach, Florida. We have been raising rabbits under this name since 2011. We are registered with ARBA and can be found on their breeder listing as Rustic Roots. Please do not confuse us with others that have chosen to use our name. We are in no way associated with them. We raise rabbits for commercial, show and pet purposes in a variety of b

reeds including New Zealand, American Chinchilla and Satins. We also sell processed rabbits for those feeding their dogs a raw diet. If you're looking to get started in rabbits, reach out we would love to help.

We have scaled way back and are currently only raising rabbits for ourselves. Should we have an abundance we may be open to selling some and will post availability here.

We have a very colorful litter that will be available soon. They are New Zealand/English Lop crosses and all appear to have lop ears. These will be larger rabbits.

We have a couple 6 month old Flemish Giant bucks available. Both are Sandy color. If you’re looking for a large rabbit that makes a great indoor pet you can’t really go wrong with the Flemish Giants.

We are back in full swing with litters in the nest boxes and more on the way. If you are looking for high quality commercial/meat rabbit breeds let us know. We breed New Zealand, Satin and American Chinchilla.

Looks like we are going to have a few extra copper Satin rabbits in the barn. We have been very pleased with her previous kits. Hopefully this litter continues the high quality trend.

This will be one of our last litters until fall. Our does have done a fantastic job this year and deserve to take a little break. Breeding will resume in the fall when temperatures are lower.

We are fortunate to have the opportunity to raise American Chinchilla rabbits. They are a versatile breed with a great temperament and mothering instincts. If you are interested in getting into this heritage breed let us know. We currently run two separate lines and a blended line so putting together breeding groups is possible.
