Everyone take a minute and welcome Kenley to the 4F farm team! She has been taking lessons with me for several years now and it one of the most determined horsemen I have met! Kenley has quickly become a part of our barn family, we love her dearly and value her friendship! Kenley will be taking on the beginner riders for now teaching them all the ropes from the ground up of basic horsemanship! She is fun and full of spark, bring your beginners and let’s fill up her schedule!

Alright guys, we are super excited about this one! Bring anything from your babies to your barrel horses, we will have the arena set up in an obstacle course of fun ways to desensitize your horse! We will also have lunch for everyone and a water inflatable for the kids! Please share. This will be a great way to spend a day in the arena doing something new!

Hi everyone! Please help us welcome our newest instructor here at 4F Farm, Mae Rawlins!

Since the age of 12, Mae has been learning the art of horsemanship. Her love for horses started with showing her gelding Flash at the 4-H shows. Throughout her life she has learned and competed in many disciplines of riding such as Dressage, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Breakaway Roping, competitive Trail Riding, Goat Tying, Gaited Saddleseat, and Ranch Riding. Mae is also the Treasurer of The Central Alabama Dressage and Combined Training Association.
When Mae is not horsing around she is providing care for our community as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Ravin is currently booked for lessons right now, but Mae is accepting new clients and we would love to get you on her schedule! Please contact us for more information!

I have had so much fun with this string of horses… The stud c**t came to me full of himself, disrespectful, dangerous to himself and everyone around him. Now he still has his bad days, but we have come so far! The paint mare came to me scared of her own shadow, and ready to bolt at any sign of discomfort, she is now softening in my hands and eager to learn, we have a long way to go, but we’ve come so far! The blue mare came to me an angel baby, and she will leave an angel baby with a handle! 😂 three very different horses and it has been so fun handling their personalities! I am a firm believer that we take our time these first few months and help these young horses develop some confidence!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the raffle for Penny! We had someone who wanted to purchase her outright this week and we are so happy that we get to help this family out on their IVF journey. We appreciate all of you who were willing to help them out as well!

Good morning. I am on the search for a lesson instructor to join the team! You would be teaching at my barn in Verbena Al. I am looking for someone reliable, honest, and kind. We uplift and encourage here. I need someone who is experienced in basic horsemanship and western riding. I need someone who is good with kids and their parents! It is crucial that I can trust you. I have prayed and believed that one day I will have the biggest, most successful, lesson barn in Alabama, and I truly believe this is the next step in fulfilling my dream. I am booked full and over flowing and wow what a blessing that is to me! There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing all of my girls out there crushing their goals in the horse world. BARREL RACERS!!!

We are so excited to announce that our favorite coach Brady Kissic is joining the team at 4F Farm!! He is available to do group lessons 2 Saturdays a month. If you have your own horse and you’re starting towards a barrel racing career, or you’re there and you need help tuning, please pm me to get on his schedule!
