We have a heavy heart today. RIP Reese, “The Meat Head” and my gentle giant. He’s pointing and chasing angel wings in heaven. All of these things are hard on your heart. However some of them just break your heart in 2 💔.

Dog boarding services!
Does not matter if your dog is fixed or not.
Doesn’t matter if it’s a breed that is commonly misunderstood.
Large small inside outside dogs all are treated the same.

I had a Belgian Malinois that I had to spend time at the owners house before she came to my house to stay.

Ask questions! Don’t just think that you don’t have options.

Meet Buck! He is the very first dog I took a chance on. What do I mean by that? He was saved by someone and given to me. I didn’t know if he would do anything with birds but I gave it a shot.

He was in a horrible situation and someone very close to me saved him. Then brought him to me. I figured I was training dogs anyways why not give this one another chance to have a job and a better life.

Fast forward a few years later and it’s become a thing. So far I have given at least 12 other bird dogs a shot at a new life with a new job doing what they were bred for.

Almost all of them have been a success except one that I haven’t determined if she is going to turn out yet. She is quite literally scared to death of everything. I am still trying and working on her.

I tell you this because it makes me happy to have helped in my own way. The dogs have a good life they are happy doing what they do.

Plus I just rescued another one that I pick up in a few weeks. Can’t wait to see what she becomes.

I have been a little lax on posting. Here is why, it’s also burning season, maintenance season for dogs and other things that slip through the cracks. Not for nothing but it’s hot out here as soon as you let dogs out their tongues are hanging out of their mouths. I am training in the evenings a lot because it’s hot. 🥵 Florida heat is trying to kill us. So by the time training starts it’s raining 🌧️ or I’m not dressed in public appearance clothes. Just letting y’all know I haven’t fallen off the planet 🌎
