We are looking for an Assistant Manager Shift Lead & Kennel Assistant to join our pack!
Must have a love for animals, but especially dogs. Must be confident in handling dogs of all sizes from small to very large breeds. Must be able to observe and understand dog behavior and be seen as the pack leader to ensure safe play for all dogs. Must be comfortable working with large livestock animals and their care. This position requires regular clean up after the dogs. As well as other cleaning duties to keep our facility in top condition for our guests.
The Kennel Assistant will take direction from upper management on the daily care and needs of the pack and facility.
The Shift Lead will take direction for upper management on the daily care and needs of the pack and the facility. This role will also assess pack behaviors and report to upper management on immediate concerns or questions. This role will also possess a strong customer service presence. The Shift Lead will need to maintain a positive attitude and lead the Kennel Assistants by example.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for scheduling, client correspondence, vaccination and record keeping, dog behavior notations and various other duties as needed.
