Long night at the Summit County firefly night show. Still had rabbits being judged past midnight😴

Palomino:
P1 (jr doe)- won BOB for show A and B
2HP5 (jr buck)- won BOS for show A
2HP2 (jr buck)- won BOS for show B

New Zealand:
L5 (sr buck)- got 1st in his class for show A and BOB for show B. He even got a shout out for the best in show!
2HN4 (jr buck)- got 1st in his class for show A and B
2HN2 (jr doe)- got 1st in her class for show A and BOSV for show B. For being such a young jr I am thrilled she’s doing so well already!

Perfect day for an outdoor show! The OSNZRBA spring picnic show was wonderful. Very organized and fun! Really good food too! I ate too much😂 Really happy about my junior does who won out their class❤️ And my senior buck continues to place well. He’s the sire of both juniors.

L5 (sr buck): 2nd of 9 in class
2HN2 (jr doe): 1st of 7 in class
2HN7 (jr doe): 2nd of 7 in class

Some up and coming juniors born in my barn!

This New Zealand doe is a rock. She’s super solid all around. Very excited to see how she develops.

Both palomino does are pretty long in the shoulders, but I think their loin makes up for it. They are both pretty wide in the hips. The buck makes up for the shoulders nicely, but he’s kinda narrow.

The English spot buck is a sweetheart. He’s light in markings but his type is fantastic. Even with less markings I can see graduation in the few spots he has. I think paring him with a heavier marked doe would be a good mix.

Nice day at the Rabbit Fest show in Eaton, OH. Got another BOS with my New Zealand sr buck and showed some jrs for the first time. There was a good turn out for English spots. Both of my jr bucks and doe managed a BOV and BOSV for both shows. Also moved one of the spots on to a new barn🥰 All in all, a good day.
