To help dogs transform their behavior and owners learn how to live with trained dogs, in 60 days or less. Imagine going for a walk w

ith no pulling, being at the pet store or vet’s office and your dog stays by your side politely. What if you could go in the front yard to grab the mail, to hop in the car, or to work on your landscaping and have your dog stay right near you? Or what if you could go hiking off leash in the mountains, or to the lake, or on trails and have your dog listen to you with no leash?

- Great manners. The program gets rid of your jumping, chewing, digging, nuisance barking, etc.

- Behavioral help. For those of you who have dogs with anxiety or aggression, the program helps you and your dog make the changes to overcome these challenges...or to avoid them from ever happening if you don’t have those challenges. The place command isn’t about one specific dog bed, it’s about teaching your dog how to settle anywhere!

A reliable place means your dog can hold position and relax on a bed, mat, towel, bench, patio, rock on a hike, or any spot you designate. Real life doesn’t happen in one room, so training shouldn’t either!

When dogs understand place in any environment, it builds impulse control, reduces unwanted behaviors, and makes outings, visits, and everyday life calmer and more manageable!

Working on threshold boundaries!

This teaches dogs to wait at doors instead of bolting through them, giving them better impulse control and keeping them safe in everyday life.

The more positive exposure they get, the more confident they become!

Don’t forget about our holiday drive for Salt Lake County Animal Services!

‘Tis the season of giving! And we’re helping our furry friends in need! 🐾🎄

Bark Boss Academy is collecting donations for the Salt Lake County Animal Shelter this holiday season.

Here’s what’s needed most:
🥫 Pure canned pumpkin
🍎 Unsweetened applesauce
🐶 Wet dog food, peanut butter, large Milk-Bones, low-sodium broth, soft treats
🦴 Dog Toys
🐱 Cat treats, squeeze-ups, and small cat toys
🐰 Rabbit/guinea pig treats
🧻 Paper towels

You can bring items to our group classes on November 22 and December 13, or if you can’t make it, message us and we’ll coordinate a drop-off! You can also order something online and ship it to us and we will make sure it gets to them! 🐶❤️

Consistency is key when it comes to dog training!

At Bark Boss Academy, we focus on 3 key principles that build a calm, confident, and well-behaved dog:
