Putts for Purrs was a huge success! ⛳🐾 Thank you to everyone who came out to play mini golf and support our mission — your participation made all the difference. 💕 We’re so grateful to our incredible volunteers for their hard work and to our generous sponsors for making this fundraiser possible. On Sunday, we rescued Hana (aka Bus). Tragically, she and her brother, Depot, were left at a bus stop in a milk crate in very terrible shape. They were brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Depot’s little body couldn’t handle the infection… and he did not survive 🙁💔 Hana was then code red deadlined to get out.

Hana is a fighter and our hearts broke hearing the loss of Depot. One of our amazing medical fosters stepped up to take on Hana, ready to give her a better outcome than her late brother. In foster care, she quickly fought the infection with some good ol TLC and medical care. Her eyes are looking INCREDIBLE!

In less than 1 week, this amazing foster took in a struggling kitten with a respiratory infection and suspected pink eye - and look at her now! She’s a total sweetheart and just wants endless cuddles from her humans. 😻

Hana’s name was not chosen at random. In Japanese it means “flower” as she will certainly continue to blossom and flourish in foster care, and soon be the beautiful healthy gal she deserves to be 🌺

Come meet Oreo at the Petco on 3046 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60657!

4 month old Oreo might come off as a little shy at first, but give him a moment and he’ll be purring in your lap like you’ve been best friends forever. This sweet, handsome guy is all about connection once he feels safe. He loves being held close, getting gentle pets, and will happily curl up beside you for a nap or movie marathon.

Still a young dude with plenty of energy, Oreo is always up for playtime, especially if it involves his brother Oso or his favorite fish toy (seriously, he cannot resist that thing). Whether he's zooming through the house, showing off his parkour skills on the cat tower, or playing tag with Oso, he brings a fun, silly spark to the room.

At the end of it all, Oreo is a cuddle bug. He’ll curl up by your feet, stretch out next to you on the couch, and start that purr engine the second you sit down. He’s soft, sweet, and full of heart, just waiting for someone to make him feel truly at home.
