Help Needed:

This sweet girl was brought into an Oklahoma shelter after she was hit by a car and Big Dogs Huge Paws stepped up to care for her.

Following medical evaluation, It was discovered that her back left leg was fractured at the growth plate and needs to be amputated. Costs are estimated to be $1,300 with additional care as she gets used to life as a tripod.

Stella the 7-year-old, black, female, Great Dane is hoping to be the star of your show on this ! She gets the gold star for knowing what to do when you say sit, paw, down, crate, leave it and drop it and has had a soft spot inside the house where she is dependable and responsible with your things and leaving everything as you left it. Stella loves dogs but she would prefer a home without cats or kids.

Medical Update: Stella requires Cytopoint injections every few months (for allergies) and a good quality kibble. Stella has also been diagnosed with Chronic Valve disease (CVD): ACVIM stage B1. Stella's valve disease is very mild at this time and does not require cardiac medications. Rechecking an echocardiogram and blood pressure in 6 months to monitor progression is recommended.

Take a look at this furry beauty! Georgie is a 1-year-old, tricolor, female Tibetan Mastiff who is looking for the perfect forever family on this ! She is currently thriving as the only dog but would also be okay with other submissive doggy siblings or no other dominant females.

Georgie will need slow, proper introductions to strangers and environmental management to set her up for success and help her to feel safe. She is good with cats and older children, but a busy household with young kids would not be in her best interest.
