TSA? no problem! Need to go potty? no problem! Ready for our next flight? the jump back into their carrier and wait. These 2 couldn't be any easier or more loving to travel with. they literally sat in my shirt pocket for 15mins cleaning each other while we were getting scanned at the AZ airport 🥰

Who travels alone when you can travel with the most well behaved, adorable, baby boys??? Manny and Fernando, 3 months, fixed and vaccinated are making their way back from Mexico with me. Tossed out of a car, in a known dumping area in Mazatlan, these 2 were very fortunate to have a security guard see what happened. 🥰

We need your help!! This is a partner rescue of ours, meet my cousin Helen if you're not familiar with her work. Moses Ark has taken in several dogs and cats for Stray Dog Support Inc. because to us, where the animal in need is born shouldn't matter. This type of "rescue" DOESN'T WORK!! If you out endless amounts of street dogs in a confined space, you will euthanize in the most horrific way!!

Today's call: Mama was caught!! I'm so excited to be able to be part of reuniting the babies with their mom.

I've connected with another amazing group of animals lovers here in mazatlan. Martin, a security guard that works 6 days a week, is the Godfather of the lighthouse cats. He literally knows every cat running free. He feeds, loves, and calls for help whenever he finds a new kitten dumped or a sick cat in need of care. He knew exactly who this mama was when he saw her sunning herself after having breakfast with his street cats. 🥰 Thank you Martha and Martin for all you do!!

Our Story

Rescue animals have always been in our hearts and homes over the years. After selling her business and retiring, founder Kessea Moses began fostering kittens. Little did she know, this would spark the passion that lead to Moses Ark. Now, Moses Ark aims to help animals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities receive the love and care they need and find their forever homes. Over the past few years, we have dedicated our time to helping any animal we can, ranging from abandoned kittens in the Midwest to disabled street dogs in Asia.

At Moses Ark, our mission is to provide more than food and shelter for our animals. Our facility is designed around enrichment and universal design. This means that every animal from our hyper kittens and adventurous puppies to our cats that wobble and dogs with two legs are able to play and enjoy the space!

We also believe that people of all abilities can benefit from the companionship of a pet. Kessea Moses's daughter, Alex Erickson, is receiving her doctorate in Occupational Therapy and is contributing her unique skills to Moses Ark. Our spaces are being designed with people of all abilities in mind. One of our missions is to develop evidence-based educational materials that detail pet care for people of all abilities and for caring for a pet that has a disability.
