In memory of Marlie Mae who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge September 12, 2025. Our sympathies go out to Karen Picard and her son Ryan Picard. It was an honor to be asked to care for your baby during this difficult time.

MARLIE MAE PICARD

December 28, 2014 – September 12, 2025

Marlie was a Labradoodle, and she loved to play catch with her chuck-it football. For a big girl, she could leap so high to snag it out of the air. She loved walks, the lake, ponds, and Conneaut Creek, but not baths.
Her family had to coin the term “morning dinner” because she could not understand what breakfast meant. She loved all her humans and fur siblings with all her heart as her family did with her. Marlie will be missed by her family.

JAX POOLE

April 22, 2015 – September 9, 2025

Jax was a Shih Tzu, Poodle, Terrier mix and his favorite toys were his squeaky bone and anything that had a squeaker in it. Jax will be missed by many. He brought so much joy to his family’s home. They will miss him greeting them at the door when they would return home and his excessive licking and doggy kisses.
He loved playing with his squeaky toys, going for long trail walks, running through the water, car rides, and teaming up with his fur brother Luke, chasing the cats around the house.

BUBBY SIETMAN

August 25, 2025

Buddy did not have a great start in life. He was so afraid of his family. They fed him for about a year, but he would not let them touch him. Slowly, he learned to trust them, and he became a cherished house pet. Bubby was loved and loved laying outside on sunny days on his elevated bed.
Bubby is now with his dad. Run free at the bridge sweet boy. Your mom and sister miss you.

PEANUT KOSIK

January 16, 2018 – August 25, 2025

Peanut was a Siamese Maine C**n cat and such a playful and loving cat. He was a surprise birthday present to Crystal when he was a little kitten, and she loved him with her whole heart. He was her baby. He loved watching Cat TV and would chase the mouse on the computer while his dad played video games. He would play “racehorses” and chase his mom up the stairs, running as fast as he could. His favorite toys were any catnip or sparkling balls.
Peanut enjoyed spending time with his older “brother” George, who passed earlier this year. George raised him and Peanut took care of him in his old age. Peanut was a wonderful companion and will be deeply missed by his family.

PIXIE HARTMAN
2010 – July 3, 2025
In Loving Memory of Pixie, lovingly called “Pixie Poodle” (2010 – 2025)
In 2010, before the move to Oklahoma, a tiny kitten with a curious gaze and soft paws found her forever home. She was named Pixie, though in time she became just as well known by her affectionate nickname, Pixie Poodle. From the moment she arrived, she brought with her a quiet joy that would span fifteen cherished years.
Pixie had a way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary. Her purr was not loud, but soft and squeaky, a gentle hum that carried warmth and comfort. She would often drape herself on the edge of a chair or couch, her front legs dangling as if she had all the time in the world to simply be near. And when she lay across a shoulder, those same little legs would dangle there too—always relaxed, always trusting, always close.
Her quirks became part of the rhythm of home. She would dip her paw delicately into her water bowl and then lick it clean, the same way she would reach for a glass of milk or a bowl of ice cream. She even joined the dogs in begging for food, sitting alongside them with her own gentle insistence, reminding everyone that she too deserved a taste of life’s treats.
Throughout her years, Pixie shared her world with other beloved animals. She cuddled closely with her dog sister Zoey, who passed in 2016, and was preceded in death by her cat brother P.J. Butter and dog brother Copper. Though they are gone, they remain part of her story, just as she is part of theirs.
Today, four dog siblings—Rufus, Bart, Piper, and Sydney—remain behind, carrying the quiet absence of her gentle presence. Yet above all, Pixie’s truest and deepest bond was with her person, the one who was her family from beginning to end.
For fifteen years, Pixie Poodle was a soft heartbeat in the home, a steady presence through change, a source of comfort, laughter, and love. Her memory will linger in every quiet room, in the sound of a squeaky purr, in the gentle dip of a paw into water, and in the countless small ways she made life brighter.
Rest well, sweet Pixie. You were, and always will be, deeply loved.
“A gentle pawprint left forever on Dawn’s heart, with little legs always dangling nearby.”

PICCOLO (PICCO) DEGEORGE
June 20, 2018 – August 11, 2025
Picco was a mini long-haired Dachshund, and he was very friendly, but also reserved. He loved to sit on your lap or beside his mother on the couch. He had his favorite spot. He had a mind of his own, ate when he felt like it and loved his biscotti’s. His favorite toys were a stuffed elephant and a rope. He loved his sister, Lucy, and let her be the boss until she annoyed him, then he let her know who the new boss was.
He had a gentle old soul and loved to be held and kissed and his soft paws rubbed. He would sit up on his hind legs to beg for food at the table. He was then known as circus picc by his human brother and sister. He was a true joy to have around and greatly missed by all his family who knew him. He was too young to leave them.

BO JUZNA

May 30, 2023 – July 17, 2025

Bo was a kind, loving soul who adored everyone equally and everyone loved him back. Loyal and gentle, he made sure no one ever felt left out. He was especially close with his little sister Dobbie, who cherished him as both her brother and soul mate. Bo was a protector, role model, and silent teacher with a rare gift for connecting deeply without saying a word.
Survivors are his fur mom, Guinevere Juzna, his fur aunt auntie Debbie, his momma, “momma”, his sister’s squirrel and Dazey, his younger sisters Dobbie and Cali-co, his two boys Big Bebe and Bowie, and his niece Mazey.
He is preceded in death by his brother little Bebe Jr., his younger brother, Buster, and his younger sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and some of his own offspring. His older brother Bebe has been missing since 4/24/2024.

MAX FUSCO

December 3, 2013 - March 16, 2025

Max was the best boy ever. He was always a good boy and brother, and he was loved by kids. He would run to the back door and act like he had to go potty, but he just wanted Robin to get him a treat.
His favorite toy was anything that would fit in his mouth and he always had some kind of toy in his mouth. Max will be missed.

REIGN ALICEA-COOPER

February 8, 2019 – August 1, 2025

Reign was a Bombay cat and on August 1st, their beloved Reign crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy of love, protection and unforgettable memories. Reign was more than a cat—he was family, a constant companion, and a guardian who watched over both his family’s home and their hearts.
From the moment he entered their lives, Reign lived up to his name. He truly “reigned” over his little kingdom—patrolling the neighborhood, standing guard with pride, and protecting his family with both love and fight. Though he had the heart of a warrior, he was also one of the sweetest souls they have ever known. His gentle purrs, soft nuzzles, and watchful eyes brought comfort in ways words cannot describe.
Reign had a way of making everyone feel safe and loved. Whether he was stretched out in a sunny window, keeping a careful eye on the world outside, or curling up beside them when they needed comfort, his presence was a gift. He balanced his fierce loyalty with tenderness, teaching them that love can be both strong and gentle.
He will be remembered for his bravery, his protective spirit, and the warmth he gave so freely. His neighborhood feels quieter without him on patrol, and their hearts ache at his absence, but they are endlessly grateful for the years they were blessed to share with him.
Reign is survived by a family who adored him and a community he quietly watched over. His paw prints will remain on their hearts forever, and his spirit will continue to reign in their memories and stories.
The Alicea and Cooper family said rest peacefully now, sweet Reign. You guarded us with love, you fought with courage, and you gave us everything your heart had to give. You will never be forgotten.

OLIVER MOHNEY

March 2, 2013 – August 15, 2025

Jennifer said their sweet boy Oliver came to them as a rescue dog. She found him in a parking lot as a puppy, so they brought him home. All 12 years he was a wonderful boy. He loved going for car rides and he was always the first one at the back door. His favorite toy was his black Kong. He always followed Jennifer everywhere she went. He did not want her out of his sight. Oliver was good natured, and they loved him so much. May you rest in peace sweet Oliver. Always remembered and always loved.

KENZIE ANDERSON/GRAY

March 2, 2011 – March 1, 2020

Kenzie was an English Bull Terrier and made his family carry his big butt up and down steps the first month he was home. He loved going on hikes and bike rides and you couldn’t keep him out of any body of water, mud puddles included. His favorite toy was his angry gorilla. He had the best temperament and didn’t have a single enemy other than the reflections of his tags in the sun.
He put up with the revolving door of fosters and found animals and could care less about what they brought home. He loved spray cheese that his grandma always gave him. Kenzie’s OCD crazy antics and manic lapse around the house will be forever missed.

DROMIDA HUNTER/ANDERSON

July 14, 2015 – August 7, 2025

Dromida was a Cane Corso and the most mellow down to anything dog his family has ever seen. She would make her rounds with all her friends and family, pawing them until they gave her head boops and butt scratches. She would throw hands if she thought anyone at the dog park was bullying her sister. She loved chewing up all plastic bottles and loved her veggies. Her favorite toys were anything stuffed, all bottles, footballs and basketballs.
Dromida was a trained service dog and would boop you with her nose until you were okay again. She believed she was all of 10lbs and everybody was her body pillow. Her little nub never stopped, and she took everything on as a new adventure. Her lack of personal space and slime on everything will be forever missed.
