Upcoming Manners Classes

Adult Manners-Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 7:00 pm
Puppy Manners-Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 7:00 pm

Adult class is for dogs over 6 months old
Puppy class is for dogs under 6 months old

Class meets one hour a week for six weeks.

Cost is $100 ($75 if adopted from New Castle Shelter)

This is the last session for 2025. We will resume classes, including weekend sessions, in January.

October is National Shelter Dog Month! Where else could you find a House Hippo, a Teacup Mastiff, or a Miniature North American Werewolf than at your local animal shelter?

Visit your local shelter today to see what other rare breeds are available for adoption. And if you can’t adopt, you can still help! Volunteer, donate, or just be a friend and advocate for your local shelter. The dogs (and the staff) will thank you for it!

Cheer on New Castle dogs Booker, Kona, and Scout as they compete against dogs from docks all over the country; and do a little shopping for your own dogs while you’re there!

Adult manners-Saturday, September 6 at 1:00 pm
Puppy manners-Saturday, September 6 at 2:30 pm
Note: No classes, Saturday, September 13

Puppy class is for ages up to six months. Adult class is for six months and over.
