This guy is Foghorn from Fulton County Animal Services He’s been my foster dog for three weeks now—he’s settled in after a quiet decompression period, and is ready to get out there to find his forever home.

Foggy is a very handsome guy, I’m guessing he’s part shepherd, lanky with beautiful markings. He’s right around a year old, and still has plenty of puppy goofiness about him. He’s a sweet sweet boy who would love to be someone’s best bud.

He loves going for walks—tho can be a little fearful of loud noises and cars. We’ve been working hard on leash skills and building his confidence around new experiences.

He looooooves having another dog to play with and will make a great brother for another playful pup, though he’d likely do fine solo. He’s been very respectful of my dogs, and seems really adaptable to different size dogs, and different play styles. I’m still not sure about cats—he’s very interested in mine, so we’re going slowly with that process.

So far he’s been good about sleeping through the night. He’s fully potty trained, and will let you know if he needs to go out. He’s also good about entertaining himself with a toy if he needs to get out some energy. He loves Chuck It balls and wrestling with my girl, Boogie.

I’m loving getting to know Foghorn, and grateful for the opportunity to show him that he’s loved and safe. Here’s hoping we can find him a home that’s just as wonderful as he is. Please share my dude far and wide ❤️

Introducing my new foster dog! His name is Foghorn and he’s being fostered through Fulton County Animal Services He’s about a year old, and just wants to be someone’s buddy. He loves going for walks and he reallllly loves a good Chuck It ball. The shelter said he did well in their playgroups, and it seems like he is interested in other dogs. I’m going to wait a few more days before seeing if he’d like to do a slow intro with my dogs.

Foghorn is very treat motivated and eager to learn, so he’s really fun to train. He also settles pretty quickly when left on his own. Overall he’s a sweet guy who wants somebody to bond with. I’m excited to help him on his journey!

I have a few clients who are off for the summer, so my schedule is lighter than usual. I’d love to add playgroup days for any of my current clients, and am looking to add a couple new clients to my playgroup rotation!

I’ve got extra playgroup spots open this week. If any of my regulars would like to add a day, just let me know.

I’d also love to add another dog or two to my weekly roster, so if you know anyone looking feel free to send them my way. Must be in my usual service area—so Grant Park, EAV, Ormewood, Kirkwood, Oakhurst, Reynoldstown, etc.

I’d love to add some additional pups to my roster this week. Get in touch if you’d want your dog to join!

I’d love to add more dogs to my rotation this Friday, and Fridays in general. That day is light most weeks, so it would be great to add a couple dogs for playgroup to fill out my day. 😊

Hello! Popping on here to check in—I’m a little over 3 weeks post surgery, and feeling really good. Recovery has gone well so far, and I’ve loved having so much time at home with my dogs, especially Griffin, who just turned 15. I’ve started doing solo walks for him and my other pups, and we’re working on getting my strength built up again.

I’m not quite ready to get back to my ‘normal’ routine—but plan to start reaching out to clients over the next couple weeks to get started with outings. Smaller dogs first, then working back up to my big dogs ☺️ I’ll hold off on leash walks until after my 6 week post op visit with my surgeon. I’m healing really well, so I’m hopeful that I’ll be in good shape by then.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for supporting me through this big moment in my life, and for being willing to put walks and playgroups on hold while I’ve been recovering. I’ve been working with some of your dogs for 6+ years, and I’m so grateful that I get to come back to all of my friends. It means so much to me, and I can’t wait to get back to the work I love. See you soon!
