The FIV girls are doing great. Farrah and Jaclyn love watching the sunrise each morning. Kate likes to sleep in, so she missed the photo shoot this morning. Jaclyn and Kate still need some medical attention (Kate has severe dental disease, and Jaclyn needs to get an echocardiogram). And, they have an admirer: Jeffrey. He is another FIV cat I took in a few years ago. He calls on them each morning. ❤

Farrah is officially available for adoption! She got a clean bill of health from the vet and is ready to find her forever person. If you know of anyone looking for a petite, gorgeous, sweet feline friend, contact me, and I can set up a meet and greet. She is 4 years old, 6 pounds, and is FIV positive. And, she strongly believes we are not alone in this universe. 👽

Sorry for the bad lighting, but Kate likes to hide inside her cat house to avoid socializing. I completely understand and can relate since I like to hide from people. Kate, Jaclyn, Farrah, and I would like to extend our deep appreciation for the Chewy donations once again. As I stated in a previous post, Chewy does not notify me regarding who the sender/donor was, so I was unable to thank people personally. The cat litter, food, and other goodies will come in handy since the vet found some issues with Kate and Jaclyn that need to be addressed and I am now facing medical costs that will be just under $5000. So, as you can imagine, every free cat litter and case of food I receive is greatly appreciated.

The FIV girls are loving their new life and enjoying the outdoors after being confined to the shelter for so long. Jaclyn loves watching the sunrise, and Farrah is checking out a possible new boyfriend, Jeffrey.

I tried to do a group photo of the girls and the Chewy gifts they received from so many generous people. Unfortunately, they had other plans in mind. Jaclyn wanted to stay in the catio, Farrah didn't know how to sit still, and Kate, being the old lady of the group, didn't give a crap and just posed for the photo. Thank you to everyone who donated food, treats, toys, and gift cards. I am grateful beyond words.

If it doesn't bring you to the list, go to your Chewy page, click on account, then 'my rescues' and on that page you can search for any rescue that is registered with Chewy. The wish list will be there.
I try to keep my fundraising campaigns to a minimum because I know times are tough. I have a big vet bill coming my way for the FIV girls so if I could get some cat food, litter, or treats for them, I would appreciate it. Thank you.😻

Charlie's Angels are back! Meet Farrah, Jaclyn, and Kate. Also known as the FIV girls. These three beauties were at a shelter for over a year despite their sweet personalities and gorgeous looks. The reason is that there continues to be a stigma about FIV-positive cats, so adopters tend to shy away from adopting them. My heart broke for them as they languished in an isolation room with no contact with other cats. So, I took them from the shelter and brought them to my cat sanctuary, where they can roam safely in their own catio and tiny home while they wait to be adopted. Welcome ladies!

As suspected, the foster-to-adopt trial ended quickly---resulting in adoption! Brownie is now called Tavi and has already acclimated to his new home in record time. I could not have asked for a better adopter and a better outcome. Yay for Brownie/Tavi!!
