Dr. Karie has currently started her maternity leave, which will tentatively extend to the end of May. While we were forced to close our in-person appointments a couple weeks earlier than expected, Dr. Karie and her baby are both healthy.

Dr. Karie will still be available while on maternity leave via text or email during our normal business hours (closed Sundays and major holidays). If you need a medication refill, you can text/email us, and we can ship them to your door (if your pet has been examined by us in-person within the past 12 months).

You can also request a telemedicine or video consultation by texting/email us.

If your pet needs to be examined in-person while Dr. Karie is on maternity leave, we can provide a referral to a local veterinary clinic who will be able to assist you in our absence.

☎️ Our phone system has been down sporadically throughout the day starting this morning (12/07) and is still not resolved due to a national outage with our phone carrier. This has effected some of our outbound and inbound text messages.

If you texted us today and have not received a reply back, this means we never received your message due to this issue and have no way of knowing you tried to contact us. In order to get in touch with us, please send us an email to: [email protected], so we can further assist you.

It's a... GIRL! Dr. Karie and Joe are expecting their 2nd child - due in March 2022 👶

Dr. Karie will be going on maternity leave starting at the end of January or beginning of February and will be on leave until the end of May. All dates are tentative, but we will post additional information with more definitive dates as we get closer.

If your pet is due for any annual services during the time Dr. Karie will be on maternity leave and you would like us to provide our services beforehand, you can schedule an appointment with us for sometime in January. It is safe to vaccinate your pet slightly ahead of schedule if necessary.

Dr. Karie will still be available while on maternity leave via text or email during our normal business hours. She will also be able to provide telemedicine, video consultations and ship medications when necessary (if your pet has been examined by her in person within the past 12 months).

If your pet needs to be examined in-person while Dr. Karie is on maternity leave, we can provide a referral to a local veterinary clinic who will be able to assist you in our absence.

The 4th of July is just around the corner, so make sure you contact us now if you need medication for your dog. We always suggest a 7 day notice when requesting medication, as we typically process requests within 1 business day (Monday-Saturday) and shipping to your house can take anywhere from 1 day to up to 6 days if your postal service is slow.

If you ever need something shipped ASAP, you can request expedited shipping (for an added fee) where you typically receive your order within 1-2 days.

Please keep in mind, in order for us to prescribe a new medication or refill a current medication, your pet would need to have an exam with us within the past 12 months.

🕰🗓📞 Business Updates 🕰🗓📞

Our new phone system will automatically shut off at 8pm every night and turn on at 8am every morning. We will now be closed on Sundays, so any messages received or prescriptions requested after 8pm on Saturday will be answered starting at 8am on Monday.

☎️ If you have an urgent medical concern outside of our normal business hours (8am-8pm Monday-Saturday), please contact a 24/7 emergency animal hospital.

As always, our VIP clients can communicate directly with Dr. Karie Monday-Saturday from 8am-8pm via text or email. You can also view our earliest availability and schedule an appointment at anytime on our website: vipvetvisit.com/schedule.

As a mobile vet, all of our appointments are scheduled with a 2-hour arrival time window. This gives us the necessary flexibility to account for unexpected delays - like getting a flat tire en route to your house ⚠️

We are proud to say we have never been late to any of our appointments, even after getting a flat tire, triple booking a time slot or encountering any of our many other daily adventures! 😅

Out Of Office: April 11 - April 21

We will be out of the office and unable to ship medications from 04/11 to 04/21. If you will need any prescriptions, preventatives or refills during that time, please let us know before those dates.
