Great Dog Rescue New England (GDRNE) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit, shelterless, all-breed rescue group headquartered in Massachusetts.

Great Dog Rescue New England needs foster homes! As a shelterless rescue, we don’t have a building where our dogs are housed until they get adopted. We are lucky enough to have loving families who open their hearts and homes to our dogs until they are placed, but we need more foster homes so we can save more dogs. If you can’t foster, we’re always looking for volunteers to help with home visits, s

creen applications, and to help with special events, so there are lots of ways you can help. Every month we save dozens of wonderful dogs from local and Southern kill shelters and place them in safe, nurturing homes. Please consider joining us in this effort; we would love to have you!

Meet (Little) Debbie Treat
is a 15 week old, Lab mix.
Little Debbie and her siblings were found as strays in Tennessee, when they were discovered hiding in a culver on the side of a rural country road. We're so happy we found them when we did and can't wait to help them find their forever families.

Little Debbie Treat is the smallest of the litter...in size only! She has a lot of personality and can hold her own with her siblings. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone she meets. Her favorite place to be is wherever you are and she makes friends everywhere she goes. She is one smart cookie and is learning things quickly (like potty training and recall). She's still young and will need to find a family who is committed to her training, but she is sure to adapt to her new environment quickly from what we have seen so far.

Meet Princess
a 4 year old, Cattle Dog mix, who weighs about 55 pounds.
This beauty was surrendered to a vet clinic in Mississippi because she did not do well with the resident cat (so this girl will need a cat-free home). And now she sadly find herself at risk of a fate none of us want for her.

"Princess is a happy girl! She is sweet to everyone she meets and is very friendly with other dogs. Princess walks well on the leash (and could use a few more walks in her daily routine), and is crate trained. She is a 3-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, weighing 60 pounds. Sapphire was previously a cast member on The Real Strays of Tennessee but is hoping to join her fellow adopted dogs and become a Real Housedog of New England! This amazing girl is more than ready to live the soft life with YOU!

Everyone says diamonds are a girl's best friend, but we'd like to add that Sapphire is everyone's best friend! This gem of a girl gets along with children, adults, dogs and cats alike! Her friendly and outgoing personality will immediately make you the most popular person in your building! A local foster has stepped up to foster his brother Rip and we are crossing all of our fingers and paws to find a foster to adopter to help us save Harry!

The RANGER pups love their playtime in the yard, and would really thrive in homes where they could explore and play! They have never known what it means to have a toy and be loved by a family. The vet techs have given them lots of love and they are the only family they’ve ever known. They are sweet natured, playful and are great with people and ready to find their forever homes!

FRIDAY Happydays
a 6-week-old Labrador/Hound mix who weighs 8 pounds.
Friday Happydays gets his name from the Happydays litter that was surrendered from sunny Tennessee. Friday hopes to find a fur-ever home home where he'll be saying "Fri-yay" everyday!
He is the last of his siblings to be adopted.

"Casual Friday" is what his siblings call him because of his chill, thoughtful nature. Sometimes he'll sit back and watch his siblings play amongst themselves, and other times, Friday will join the play session when he's up for it! Friday takes care of his emotional needs first and honestly, that's so relatable. His personality is as sweet an ice cream sundae with sprinkles and his love of cuddling is the cherry on top!

Friday is a friendly, playful puppy who hopes to make the start of your weekends even more awesome! Sure, you can join your coworkers for Happy Hour after work, but we all know Happy Hour is at home watching a cheesy holiday movie and snuggling with Friday Happydays. He'd be a great match for a home that understands he's still a puppy and will need a little extra help getting the hang of potty training, crating and leashing. But he'll be so cute, hopefully you won't even mind!

Meet Jett Knox
a 1 yr - 8 month old Lab mix, who weighs approx 70 pounds.
Jett Knox was surrendered due to landlord issues. This always makes us sad. He was previously living in a loving home, and is still looking for a new loving family to call his own!

“Jett is so sweet and loving! He loves attention and is your typical Lab who loves to run and romp around.

Jett does not slow down one bit even with his cute wobble (we think at one point in his life he may have been hit by a car - he has seen a vet and has no pain).

Jett would do great with an active family because he is always on the go! He also previously lived with children, and loved it. He thinks kids are so much fun.

Jett is very well socialized and very friendly. He is also are able to settle down when he needs to. He is a gorgeous boy on the inside and out.

Meet Igor Igloo
a 2 1/2 month old, Flat Coat Retriever / Mountain Cur mix, who weighs about 12 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in Tennessee with his brothers, and they're all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Igor Igloo is a sweet, fluffy, and happy boy! He is very friendly and makes friends everywhere he goes. He can be chatty at times when he wants to get your attention. Since he's still young, he will need all of the basic puppy training but has a wonderful personality and is eager to learn. The only thing on his wishlist this holiday season is to find his forever family!
