I have always liked owning my own stallion for the simple reason...I really dislike dealing with shipped semen. The expense and having to haul my mare ( let alone three mares one season and getting only one foal ) to the vet on top of an already busy life is something I just don't want to do. I have bred to National Champions and have been just as happy with foals from my stallion as by a National Champion. Don't get me wrong, I love those Champions and gee I really am tempted by those beauties but...NOPE. So, I invested in the next best thing, my own lovely stallion, well bred and with siblings that have done very well. His name is Benissimo GA. He is sired by the exotic JJ Bellagio and out of a great producing mare, Dark Angel GA, a daughter of the gorgeous Da Vinci FM. Five mares of various bloodlines bred for 2023 foals. I would like to thank Avidity Arabians for giving me the opportunity to own this lovely typey stallion.
