💛We can’t get enough of this sweet boy Faylen💙

Breed: Golden Retriever
Age: 4m
Behavioral challenges: MOUTHING, no leash manners, didn’t listen or respect boundaries and simple pushy puppy behaviors with his house mates
Program: Basic Obedience on/off Leash Board & Train

Faylen is getting a wonderful head start in laying a reliable foundation for basic skills to be a well mannered dog as he grows up! wants Faylen to have good leash manners, stay put when needed and simply be able to listen reliably as she knows he’ll grow to be a big boy 🐕

🌟NEW STUDENT🌟

NIPSEY 🐶 is a gorgeous 1yr old XL bully who needs help learning how to access a calm state of mind when initially seeing another dog nearby much less in close proximity! Along with basic commands, walk well on a leash, and behave with good manners at home and in public spaces.

👀 Nipsey gets excessively overly aroused the moment another dog comes into sight. Immediate fixation. All other senses go out the window and he’s led by sight which is not how the dog is designed to explore the world. It should be SMELL, SIGHT, SOUND. With his fixation comes explosive barking and lunging.💥

⁉️ To some this behavior looks aggressive. In fact it is NOT! He is young, immature, overly aroused, looking to immediately greet the dog with strong posture but ultimately wants to lead into play. He’s simply not properly socialized, ill mannered in dog world and for every single dog we have to look at them as an individual in order to determine the best course in socializing appropriately with proper guidance!

📚 with proper training and a strong handler Nipsey is already learning how to begin with his NOSE first, remain calm, focused on his handler, and follow a better fit leader.

✨Jett’s journey to service dog work✨

Ringo & I met Jett’s owner moving through TSA in DFW airport. He expressed his struggle with his own service dog. Professionals were not taking their credentials serious due to minor lingering challenges and age.

Doug connected with me upon returning home to California and we immediately began formulating a plan on how to re lay Jett’s foundational training. He had been receiving training through a company that was leaving Jett’s commands unreliable and unattainable for Doug to apply.

Through teaching proper foundation, Jett and I were able to begin advanced training’s to perform tasks for Doug in assisting with disability. Tasks such as retrieval training, scent work, specialty commands for mobility assistance and functional Utility.

Jett visits me for more advancements, reliability building and sharpening of commands.

Through consistency in training, appropriate training techniques & methods, EDUCATING HIS OWNER, Jett is faithfully & reliably assisting Doug through his travel and in every day life.

Service dog work is a long, in depth, hard working journey! The dog needs to qualify for the jobs required of them and is best began as a puppy if possible through maturity to 2-3yrs old.

This does not mean a mature dog doesn’t have the ability to perform jobs & tasks to assist their owner!!!! However they must still qualify for the jobs their owner desires to task them with or it would not be appropriate for either dog nor owner moving forward!!

✨✨Staring Miss Pepper✨✨

💢Check out this Gorgeous girl! Pepper is a beautiful 4yr old Welsh Corgi whose initial most concerning challenge was reactivity towards other dogs.
🔆Her owner even creatively nick named her signature move as “the Venus Fly Trap” and she was very accurate 😂
Pepper will lure in with a submissive gesture and with VERY subtle warning typically only trained eye or her momma would see, within seconds she goes in for the snap!

Pepper is beginning her foundational building blocks of obedience training to begin implementing proper structure and boundaries. Setting clear understanding and expectation of how to follow her owners lead in order to move into proper socialization!

💫Ringo is my personal dog/business partner/best friend! 🐕🎖️❤️‍🔥
He is fully advanced obedience, Retrieval, Utility, Scent & specialty Trained. His most recent advancement is the ability to find my children using his foundation of “scent work.” This advanced training allows Ringo to become a part of our families every day life ANYWHERE & adds utmost value to our life along with our community!

‼️Ringo is laying in a down/stay command (a job in itself for a pup am I right!) while holding a box full of food with attention on me as his handler, leader, person.‼️

Training your dog not only improves the life of your household but most importantly the life of your dog! Giving pups the ability to move in our society confidently, well mannered, and able to safely explore our world WITH their beloved humans!

Thank you Mayfair Village Animal Hospital for having Ringo and I come in today for a lunch & Learn with your staff! We had a great time sharing our knowledge & training methods to help keep dogs out of shelters and in safe happy homes! We’re excited to partner together in saving dogs lives!
