Happy Birthday Castle!! Castle turned 14 on July 3rd and I had the honor of getting to celebrate him on July 2nd. I have been treating Castle on and off for the past 4 years mostly for mobility issues. Although he has his occasional rough day, he is doing great and living his best life.

"Marley" 2011-5/7/2015

"Marley was a wonderful rescue dog. She was a young mama of 5 puppies when she was rescued by my daughter, Anna. We were lucky to have had Marley as a family member for 13 years. Some families don't get that long, but for us, it wasn't long enough. We were blessed to have her and miss her immensely."

Rest in Peace Sweet Boy! Yesterday I lost a long time patient of mine. I deal with a lot of loss and sad emotions on an almost daily basis. But in those sad moments, I find comfort knowing that I am bringing peace to my patients and their families. But today I lost one of my first patients from when I started my house call practice and it has left a little hole in my heart. I have been treating Yankee since 2020 and over the years, my visits have become more frequent. Yankee was one cool dog. And he was such a good patient. I loved that he would get excited to see me when I walked through the door. He was so tolerant of anything I did to him. He would relax into his acupuncture and laser treatments. And I learned from him. As he aged, we would try new things to keep him comfortable and I would say that we succeeded. Yankee just celebrated his 15th birthday on 5/20. I will always remember you Yankee. I hope you crossed that rainbow bridge running again.
