A quick hello from Jordan!

Just dropping in to let y'all know that we're still here and happily running and walking dogs all over Atlanta. I don't have much time to post on social media because we're always busy! My days are spent meeting new pups and introducing them to our packs, helping our running staff keep your dogs happy and healthy, and running and walking about a third of the pups we take care of every week.

While our calendar is pretty full, we still have room to take on new work here and there. Reach out if you need a walk or a weekly run.

My crew is the BEST at maximizing exercise and engagement while keeping pups safe and happy all year long.

Maggie has been running with us for years now, and I can say ⭐without a doubt⭐ that she is the happiest dog I know. She is happy to see anything and everything. People. Cats. Sticks. The sky. You name it - she loves it. We're thrilled to be a part of that love.

Does your dog need some friends? We can help with that! (And get them lots of exercise, too!)

Today we successfully introduced 3 new pairs of dogs to one another. Many of these dogs often exhibit behaviors with their families that make it difficult to introduce to other dogs. However, we understand how these pups operate and have the skills to introduce dogs carefully and thoughtfully.

Pairing dogs up allows us to exercise more dogs than we could before. It also adds a lot of value to the dogs (and their families) who get more enjoyment and engagement with a friend alongside them. It's a win-win-win!

This summer is summering! Here's how we're keeping your pups cool:
🌅 Exercise early: we're usually running between 8AM and 10AM
⛱️ Seek shade: we're keeping dogs out of the sun as much as possible
💧 Hydrate: we either stop by clean creeks or public doggy fountains, or bring our own water for the run
⏰ Frequent breaks: we take a lot of breaks to give your pups time to cool off to prevent overheating

Jordan Ryan - Ruff Runners

When Jordan relocated to Atlanta in 2014, he relied on running as a way to get to know the city and its people. He joined local running groups and competed in Atlanta Track Club events. Eventually, he was inspired to share his love of running with his community, so he organized a running group in East Atlanta. RUN EAV currently hosts several weekly runs, and the group comes together to do cool community service projects in the neighborhood.

When he was a kid, Jordan always had multiple pets in his house-- from felines to ferrets, and pit bulls to pythons. He currently lives with a beautiful kitty (Maeby) and two chickens (Sue and Tapanga), all of which have vetoed his request to add a dog to the family. Instead, Jordan gets his puppy fill with Ruff Runners, where he shares the benefits of running with your four legged friends.
