Hi everyone 👋🏽 it’s been a while since we’ve been on here so I wanted to reintroduce myself! My name is Acacia and I’m the owner of Pet Au Pair Austin. I took over the company last year from my rockstar mom, Lisa, who still works along side me from time to time. When I’m not working with your animals you can find me by an body of water (pool, lake, ocean, river) and my guilty pleasure is being fully caffeinated all day with iced coffees! But the most important thing to know about me is I have two fur babies at home Rufio (dog) and Winnie (cat) that I absolutely love more than anything.

Happy 4th of July!!! Here are a few safety tips for today to keep your pet safe this holiday.
1) Keep your pets indoors - loud pops and booms can cause them to run away
2) Create a quiet Space - such as a quiet room or a crate to help them feel secure. Also, provide distractions such as toys, treats, background noises.
3) Microchip/ID - make sure your pet has a proper identification tags and up to date information in case your animal flees.

Here’s a little about me. My name is Sofi and I’m going to toot my own horn to let you know I’m a big deal, at least my new foster mom says so. I’m about two-years old and I’ve only lived with one family who loved me, but I had to live outside in the yard. My parents were older and I couldn’t be underfoot inside, being as though I am a small 12 pound girl. My parents decided it was best to drop me at the shelter last week, which you can imagine has been scary!
My new foster family is focusing on giving me lots of love and attention to help me gain confidence. We’re doing all kinds of new things like learning to love spa days (bathing is my groove!). How about this? It turns out that I love dogs, cats, kids and people. Oh, I’m not a barker either. I’m a little go-getter with high aspirations to find my forever someone or family.
Like a Pina Colada needs a pineapple, I’m discovering my good match with my foster parents. My relationship goals are pretty simple. I need someone who makes me feel good about myself as I’m learning to trust and follow new rules. I need help finding the right balance regarding alone time. You’ve probably guessed I’m a lover and I want to spend time with my family. Common interest is important, we both could go on walks or watch movies together snuggled on the couch. Want to do some traveling? I’m your match. I enjoy car rides, I can go just about anywhere with you. Spa Days-Check, Relationship Goals-Check, Friendly with all I meet-Check.
