Sawyer Coleman, our Winter Farms jack-of-all-trades, joined the team back in 2021 as a wiry 14 year old. Slide forward to the present, he now assists with nearly every aspect of farm life from horse care to haying to irrigation to snow removal. We couldn’t do all that we do without him!

Winter Farms is thrilled to announce that Rosaria (aka Aria) is beginning a new chapter. She departed for Solace Stables in Manitoba Canada today. We will be watching her future successes from afar ❤️!

Leslie Edison and Sam McKay were recently accepted into the US Dressage Foundation’s L Program, which will be hosted by the Utah Dressage Society! The L Program teaches judges to evaluate the correct training of dressage horses and qualifies participants to officiate at schooling shows. Congratulations Leslie and Sam!

Still glowing with pride over Secret Sauce WF (Secret x Ribéry Gold x Royal Dance) after her first-ever horse show at Millbrook Farms last month! She handled the atmosphere like a total pro and showed off the talent and temperament we’ve always believed in.

Next stop: completing the local show season then the Regional Championships, and then this winter she’ll be heading to Florida to train with Anne Gribbons. Big things ahead for this special young mare—we can’t wait to keep sharing the journey! 💫🐴💙

Winter Farms’ beautiful competition mare and proud mother of two of our promising young horses, Gamine DDH, with Samantha McKay, stepped up at Spring Dressage at Les Bois to Second Level and brought home three blue ribbons. We are so proud of this pair!

At her horse show debut at Spring Dressage at Les Bois, Winter Farms’ Pfanfare YF, with Sydni Cook, was the high-point Champion both days with a 73% and 75%, winning both her classes. What a great show!

Secret Sauce WF stole the spotlight in the Hanoverian Society’s Award Magazine as Site Champion and the highest scoring Rhinelander in the country presented this year. What an incredible accomplishment!

Winter Farm’s Rosa Red featured prominently in the Hanoverian Society’s Award Magazine. She was one of only four mares in the country to achieve Competition Mare Status and was the only Rhinelander to do so!
