We also have a beginner lesson program where kids or adults can get started

The past few weeks, the barn was bumping with horse crazy kids. We held a beginner camp for the younger students just starting out and an intermediate camp for the kids who have been riding in a lesson program and wanted to learn more than what lessons could teach them. It was a hit!

We want to thank our Camp director, Marisa Lee and all her helpers. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

Stay tuned for some day camps and we will even be having an adult camp this fall. You’ve been asking and we are listening.

Scrolling thru my phone this morning, this picture popped up. My girls tend to take pictures of things they love and I find them later on.

That smile can pick anyone’s day up. It’s genuine and reminds me of someone else that grew up in the barn (hint hint- Natalie). That’s a quality you need to hold onto, cause not many people have it. Sure hope you are enjoying your first week at IUP. We miss ya already Leah Karenbauer but wish ya the best this year.

This pair really cleaned up in their first show together. Rachel was ready to step up to another horse this summer and Joey was the perfect fit. He has taught her so much about being quiet and patient, adjusting strides, and trust.

“Everything happens for a reason.” Trust the process and enjoy the ride.

Ella Brewster and Easy Lee Fabulous debuted in their first over fence class this weekend.

Yes it was only cross rails but at 4 yrs old…. Hazel was so confident and came out Champion in her division.

What a way to end your last show with us before heading off to college this week. I know this has been a goal of yours for quite some time. I’m so proud of you and you should be so proud of yourself and all you have accomplished with Joey.

From winning lots of money on the racetrack to becoming a finished over fence horse, he sure is a cool guy. I wish he could tell us all his stories. I adore that big personality and heart that he gives you every time.

We are gonna miss you this fall but excited to hear about your IHSA shows. We will be holding Joey hostage until your return. That big beautiful smile of yours will become the door that opens all the new friendships. So keep smiling girl and get ready for the best days ahead. Love ya 🩷
