Today we want to honor the life of Susan Vine - a dear friend , a kind soul and a true supporter of the Rescue. Her support over the years touched the lives of so many horses and humans alike. Whether through her generous spirit, her encouragement, or her belief in good. She left a legacy of compassion that will never be forgotten.

Grief to Grace with Horses.
This weekend, we had the privilege of introducing our Grief to Grace with Horses program with the residents of Anderson Farms.

Led by Lara Peterson, Lifecoach, this program gives people the space to explore their grief through the quiet strength of our horses. Sugar Belle and Whistle were the perfect ambassadors, looking for peppermints from everyone they met.

Grief is something we all carry, but healing doesn’t have to happen alone. Sometimes the most powerful comfort comes from a warm muzzle and a kind eye.

Thank you to the residents of Anderson Farm and to The Reserve Club for inviting us. And thank you to Lara for curating the program. And of course , thank you to our volunteers

The Grief to Grace sessions are held every third Monday 6-7:30 pm at the Rescue.

From starvation to a beautiful new beginning.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EMMA!
We are overjoyed to share that Emma, one of the brave souls from the Edgefield 9, has been adopted !

After almost 3 years of waiting through a grueling court case, this 20-year-old mare, has finally gotten her second chance. Her gentle heart, quiet strength, and will to live, carried her through some of the darkest days.

Emma‘s journey is a reminder of why we do this work: because every horse matters. Because Healing is possible. Because Love, wins.

Thank you to all our supporters for helping us, help Emma, write a new chapter.
