Can it be winter already???
We are about to get locked into a pattern that favors high temperatures in the 90s and 100s with VERY high humidity values.
This will lead to heat index values reaching 105-115 each afternoon across a large area over the next 10+ days.
The max heat index at Little Rock is not forecast to go below 105 until August.
This happens almost every summer, but that doesn't make it any easier. Remember to take it easy out there in this heat!
Heat advisories and excessive heat warnings will common almost every day through the rest of July.
