✂️🐾 Scary nail trim + Fear Free certified staff = SUCCESS! 💜 Moose isn’t a fan of nail trims, but he does love almond butter pops and hanging out outside. Our amazing team used both to their advantage—and Moose rocked his trim like a champ! 🌟👏

🐾✨ September is here, and we are thrilled to introduce our Pets of the Month—the adventurous and oh-so-lovable duo, Greta and Mox! ✨🐾

Greta is our lovely brown-and-white gal who just turned 8 in April, and Mox (short for Moxin) is the sleek black pup who celebrated her first birthday in May! These two are besties through and through, always ready to tag along on adventures with Mom and Dad. From summer boat rides and fish house hangs to long sniffy walks and rolling in the grass—they’re living their best doggy lives. 🌲🚤

Mox is training to be a hunting dog and takes her job very seriously—so much so that she once jumped into the lake to help retrieve a fish! 🎣 Greta, on the other hand, would rather follow her heart (and maybe a small child on a sidewalk) than stay behind a fence. She’s also quite the tech whiz—we’re told she managed to bypass a passcode and rent Thor: Ragnarok on Amazon. No notes. 🛋️📺

Of course, both girls have their mischievous sides. Mox recently chewed up Mom’s earbuds and proudly presented the evidence, while Greta used to make a habit of snacking on TV remotes. Despite the chaos, they’re both full of heart, snuggles, and that special kind of joy only a beloved pet can bring. 💛

🐶 Mox’s nicknames include: Miss Moxin, Water Moxasin (like the snake!)

📅 Sunday, Aug 31st: CLOSED (as usual)
📅 Monday, Sept 1st: CLOSED for Labor Day

We’ll reopen Tuesday, Sept 2nd at 8:00am! 💙

✨🐾 “Hello, our names are Princess Buttercup (🔝), Inigo (⬇️⏩), and Fezzik (⬇️⏪)… prepare to be cuddled.” 💕 These three adorable siblings came in for their very first visit with us, and they absolutely stole the show (and our hearts)! We’re so excited to welcome them to the EPHC family. 🐱🐱🐱

💜🐄 Sweet Ms. April came in on Monday for her spay, and of course, her trusty comfort cow was right by her side. She was the best patient and melted everyone’s hearts with her snuggles. 💜

While Kimchi was here for the day, she became Melanie’s paw-sonal assistant 🐾💕 She belongs to one of our wonderful clients, but we’re pretty sure she could have a full-time career in snuggles. 🥰

☀️ Happy August from Edinburgh Pet Health Center! ☀️
We’re soaking up the summer sunshine with our August Pet of the Month: Louie! This snuggly sweetheart is part Pitbull (loyal and goofy), part Husky (talkative and full of zoomies), and part Great Dane (a true gentle giant)—and he’s 100% lovable. Read on to meet the fluffball behind the nicknames. 🐶💛

1. What is your pet’s name?
🧡 Louie

2. How did you come up with the name?
He was originally named Lewis, but his people knew right away—Louie just fit. And honestly? They nailed it. 😄

3. How old is he?
Louie is 7 years young—still silly, sweet, and stealing hearts!

4. What breed is he?
Louie’s got the best blend:
🐾 Pitbull charm (big cuddles + bigger grins)
🐾 Husky sass (talks back and has thoughts)
🐾 Great Dane gentleness (and size!)
A triple-threat of love and personality.

5. What are your favorite things to do together?
Louie loves movie nights with mom 🛋️🍿 and long walks with dad 🚶‍♂️🌳—he’s all about the best of both worlds.

6. What’s the naughtiest thing he’s ever done?
When the family moved into their new house, Louie made his own housewarming statement by destroying all of mom’s brand-new pillows and decorations. Oops? 😅🛏️💥

7. What’s the funniest memory you have of him?
He once jumped into a lake, forgot he hates water, and needed dad to jump in and lift him back onto the dock. Lake Day: 1, Louie: 0. 🐾💦

8. Does he have any nicknames?
Oh yes—Big Boy, Bubba, Louie, Baby. 💕 All very on-brand.

9. Anything else you’d like to share?
Louie has recently been promoted to Big Brother and is loving all the newborn snuggles with his 3-week-old baby sister. He’s already a pro at protecting and loving his little human. 🐶👶🍼

We hope your day is full of sunshine, snacks, and a little bit of sparkle—just like our friend Aristotle rollin’ through in style, and the lovely Lettie rockin’ her sun hat with holiday flair! 🐾😎

A quick reminder that we are closed today so our team can enjoy the holiday too, but we’ll be back open bright and early at 8:00 AM tomorrow to help with all your pet's needs. 💙

✨ And while we don’t see tortoises here at EPHC, we absolutely love Ari because she belongs to our very own Heather! 🐢💕

🌺 July Pets of the Month: Kai & Kona! 🌺

This inseparable duo is Kai and Kona—two Rhodesian Ridgebacks with big personalities and even bigger hearts! They’ll be turning 2 on July 31st, and we’re so excited to feature them this month. 💛

Their names come from their family's love of Hawaii (where their parents got married!) and they even have a human sister with a Hawaiian name, too. 🐾

Kona is the queen of walkies, while Kai is all about the snuggles. They’re a perfect pair of opposites—and they’ve definitely kept their family entertained! One time, sweet little Kona completely destroyed her bed and sat right in the middle of the fluff like an innocent angel. Another time? Let’s just say their kitchen table didn’t survive the teething phase... 😅

Nicknames? Oh, they have plenty:
Kai is often called Kai Bear or even Scooby-Doo, and Kona answers to Konas, Konaskis, Konako, and Scrappy-Doo—fitting, right?

If you see them out and about, they might bark at you (or your bike, or your motorcycle...) but don’t worry—they’re not mean, just a little shy. ❤️

We’re so lucky to have these two as part of our EPHC family!
