Final Update on today's road trip to Biggs Junction.

Mission Accomplished! It was my great pleasure to evaluate this young adult dog and somewhat facilitate an adoption on behalf of my sweet friend, Sarah, and a very reputable Cardigan Welsh Corgi breeder in the Willamette Valley. Oh the places they will go! 🤗

Today is the 4th Anniversary of Bink's Demo Dog Debut. He was SOOOOO tired on class nights for several weeks! I LOVE this little Hand Me Down Dog!

I think I broke my dog. 🤣😊 He's been sleeping hard today. Bink is new to being a Demo Dog. Four classes in a row are toooooo much, which I knew when I set the schedule.

My plan was to use him for the 5pm Basic. Crate rest him for the 6pm Puppy. Demo again for the 7pm Basic. Demo again for the 8pm Intermediate/ CGC.

Bink knows most of the Basic exercises. Last night though, I handed him off to a student whose dog could not attend. So he worked for an hour, with a new handler.

While I work with him beforehand, Bink is somewhat 'taking' the INT / CGC class as we go.

So he had a very big night. Possible solution? I need a puppy!

Bink is yipping in his sleep right now. I wonder if he's dreaming about herding.

GOOD Morning! This is today's first Boris report. More details in a while. 😁

GaaaaaaaaH! 🤦.

ER called at 9:47pm last night and my phone didn't ring out loud. 🤦

Boris is doing well and I could've picked him up last night!!!

ER called again at 830am, same story, PLUS, I was sleeping so hard that Bert let me keep sleeping. I've been trying to more routinely get up at 7am. He finally roused me at 9am.

I awoke really groggy, so I called the ER Vet and will put some pants on to fetch Boris soon. Might comb my hair too ... 😉. In the meantime, the Cash Clock Meter is running ... 💰💰💰

Thank you for your outpouring of love and concern about Boris. Here is the last update for today.

🐾 430pm., Dr. Henry popped in to update.

Bloodwork looks great. He's not as dehydrated as he presents.

X-rays indicate that he may not be blocked. Small area of concern, so x-ray sent for consult. Said the word "spleen."

No, Not the Spleen! 🤦

🐾 5pm update and treatment plan:

It's NOT the spleen! The imaging shows a small area that is still bunched up with "ingesta."

IV fluids + Barium + Imaging + overnight hospitalization.

Various meds for inappetence, pain, inflammation, etc.

I think we should be able to pick him up a bit after 8am tomorrow.
