🐾 Meet Coco! 🐾

This 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix from Brooklyn is as sweet as he is spirited — but his leash manners and social skills need some fine-tuning. 🐶

Coco has a habit of barking and lunging at other dogs on walks, though once he’s up close, he’s usually fine. Cats, squirrels, and unexpected head pats? Not so much. 🙅‍♂️ Add in jumping on guests and occasional overstimulation on walks, and his family knew it was time for expert help.

🐾 Meet Buster & Lucky!

🐾Buster (14-year-old Maltipoo, 5 lbs) is a sweet senior with arthritis who recently lost his best friend — his beloved mom. 💔 To lift his spirits, his family brought home Lucky, an 8-month-old Mini Goldendoodle (20 lbs) full of energy and puppy playfulness.

While they like each other, Lucky’s rough play can overwhelm Buster, and finding the right balance has been tough. Plus, indoor leash training to manage their introductions has thrown off Lucky’s potty routine.

🚨 Meet Milo, Little, and Momo—three pups with big personalities and a few serious behavior challenges.

🐕 Milo (1.2 yrs, Shiba Inu) is the pack’s wild card. He’s shown aggressive behavior toward people and dogs—including biting and drawing blood. From lunging and snapping to guarding space and people, Milo’s behavior signals deep-rooted issues like resource guarding, poor impulse control, and fear-based aggression.
🐾 Little (12 yrs, Yorkie) barks when anxious, while
🐩 Momo (4 yrs, Poodle) barks at everything and will dart out the front door if it’s left open—even when just over-excited.
But this family didn’t give up. They called in Bark Busters Staten Island, and we’ve begun tackling these issues head-on with calm leadership, consistent communication, and a custom training plan. 🚨 Meet Luna! 🚨

This 1-year-old rescued Pitbull is loyal, loving, and fiercely protective — sometimes a little too much.

🐾She’s been with her family since she was 3.5 months old and has had some training, but her leash reactivity and protectiveness in the car have become real challenges. Luna also shows signs of anxiety, licking herself and her people constantly for comfort.

🐾 Meet Scooby Doo—a 5-year-old, 80 lb Standard Poodle from Staten Island with a big heart, big curls, and some big feelings. 💛

Scooby’s been struggling with fears and reactivity, especially on walks. Barking, lunging, growling—it’s been tough, especially now with a newborn in the home. Inside, he’s even scared to walk into certain rooms. Outside, any critter or sudden sound can send him into a spiral.

But Scooby’s family isn’t giving up—and neither are we. 💪 With Bark Busters Staten Island, we’re working on clear communication, confidence-building, and calm behavior. He may be sensitive, but with the right guidance, Scooby Doo is on his way to being the brave, well-mannered dog we know he can be.
