Long Island Pet Loss Support Services Have you suffered the loss of a beloved pet? I am a Social Worker offering a 3-session program to help people cope with their loss. Welcome to my page.

I can teach you techniques which will help you to travel this painful journey and strengthen your ability to survive it. For over 30 years I have worked as a social worker, helping people deal with grief, depression and loss. I have seen many people who struggle to cope with the death of a beloved pet. So many people who were devastated and suffering from depression were either embarrassed to shar

e these feelings “too much” for fear of “bothering their friends or families,” or felt that they were “crazy” to grieve so much for an animal. There is no need to feel that way. That is why I have developed a 3-session online program, Long Island Pet Loss Support Services, to help people who are mourning the loss of their pet. From the feedback I’ve been getting from local veterinarians, colleagues, friends and clients, I can share with you that many people whose pets have passed away have told me that I am providing a much-needed service.
