Garbanzo needs your help! This sweet, smiley Puggle was found as a local stray with two torn ACLs.

Before Peppertree stepped up to help this brave boy, he was lucky enough to land at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter and the Friends of Saratoga County Animal Shelter, a not-for-profit organization, generously paid for his first surgery that he came through like a champ.

This time Peppertree is paying the $5000 bill for surgery on his second leg. We need your support to help Garbanzo. Your donation will give him the second chance he's worked so hard for - to run and play and live life without pain.

It was a picture-perfect Saturday at Puppies & Pilates!

Huge thanks to Club Pilates Clifton Park and the Vischer Ferry General Store for hosting this fun and fabulous fundraiser for Peppertree. We're so grateful to everyone who came out, stretched out and supported our mission.

Special shoutout to Garbanzo, one of our newest pups, who crushed his Pilates debut. He gave the event two enthusiastic paws up!

Happy Friday from Lois, an 18-pound young terrier who is full of personality, kisses and opinions.

Lois is house trained, crate trained and leash savvy. This adorable Velcro pup also loves adventure, thrives on companionship and thinks life is better when spent with her people.

Like any self-respecting terrier, Lois can be a bit sassy at times. She enjoys car rides, calm dogs and confident cats. Lois would also appreciate an adult-only home with a comfy couch and one or more laps to cuddle up on.

Don't let one-year-old Pika's sweet little face fool you. One minute she's curled up next to you like a perfect little lap dog and the next minute she's doing joyful jumps and backyard zoomies with her canine buddies.

This 17-pound mini poodle mix loves to play but also loves to recharge on her dog bed or snuggle up with her person. She gets along famously with the dogs in her foster home, particularly her wingman Stevie.

Pika is housebroken, crate trained and is working hard on her leash-walking skills. Her dream home includes a fenced yard and a playful pup sibling. And car rides aren't her favorite - she's more into staycations and fenced-yard fun. We also don't know she is with children or cats.

We're thrilled to share some exciting news! AAA Hudson Valley, a wonderful community partner, is hosting two amazing events this summer.

🎉July-September: Round up your purchases at the AAA travel store at 618 Delaware Avenue in Albany and your spare change will help Peppertree provide care, comfort and second chances to dogs in our program.

🐾On Wednesday, August 27, join Peppertree at AAA Pet Day from 10 AM-4 PM. AAA members will enjoy free pet photo shoots. pet paintings, dog grooming, dog training, AAA pet ID tags, raffles, giveaways and more. Doesn't that sound like fun? We hope to see you there.

This little guy adores his people. When his foster mom comes home, he pulls a full-on Dirty Dancing move - leaping into her arms like a slightly klutzier Jennifer Gray flying toward Patrick Swayze. (After all, nobody puts Matty in a corner!)

And while he’s not a fan of hopping into the car, once he’s riding shotgun Matty is calm, cool and collected.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we encourage everyone to enjoy the holiday while keeping pets safe and comfortable. Loud booms and bright lights can be super scary for them, and more pets get lost today than any other day of the year.

Keep pets inside, double check those collars and tags, and give them a cozy, quiet spot to chill with soothing music or white noise.
